This is the New 2021 refreshed Mini Cooper JCW! The Mini JCW is a car that has evolved over the years and this is the latest instalment from John Cooper Works. The 2021 Mini JCW reviewed in this video packs a punch. 230bhp and 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. The sound of this thing is great. this does not have the pro exhaust but believe me the exhaust sound and the cars acceleration are impressive! These Mini Coopers are just totally addictive and lovable cars. They are expensive to maintain here in India but I just love my old 2012 R56 Cooper S so much that I dont feel like letting go of it at all.
Really want to take my mini to Italy and Switzerland! This just makes me want to do it even more 😍

I lived there for 6 and a half years. I was lucky it was pure Magic.

Road trip vids are the best Stef! My mate has an apartment about 20 mins walk from St Jean Cap Ferrat and we go down (usually) every September. Absolutely love that coast, from Menton, Monaco, Villefranche, Nice, Cannes, Antibes down to Juan Les Pins. Usually take in an AS Monaco match too 😉 The perched villages up in the hills are fantastic too - love it! 😎🇫🇷

Awesome video. Monaco is beautiful and definitely a place worth visiting.
Been to those places pre pandemic and loved every minute, surprisingly we did actually find some places to eat and drink at quite reasonable prices and I have a 2019 JCW silver/white with a red topping but left that at home, love it but would like more horses. Great vids Stef always enjoy them.

Enjoyed the video, was lucky enough to go to Monaco on a cruise and loved it, sat outside Cafe De Paris for 2hrs watching the super cars and we had the biggest boat in Monaco that day 😃😃. Look forward to the next video.

Wonderful Epic trip ! my Dad used to race rally mini coopers around monte carlo! -i have the jcw B racing green clubman , wifey is Italian do we drive to Italy most years, this is definitely on route next time ! keep these coming great content to see these one offs - you and Petrol Ped need to do a Mini rally edition!

I have a 2023 JCW Mini convertible in British Racing Green & Chesterfield Malt (tan) interior. Wonderful car to own and drive.
I've done just under 2000km so far in mine and still loving it! The only real negatives (if I'm nitpicking) is the gearbox in Sport mode is not great - the shifts take way too long if you're NOT driving it flat out so i generally keep it in the standard Drive mode but with the sports suspension/steering setting on The only other small thing is perhaps that the buttons on the main center screen feel a little flimsy when changing songs and the touchscreen menu buttons on the far left are very small so with big hands/fingers its sometimes a pain to hit the right choice :P

For the CarPlay issue, use the wireless CarPlay, you don’t have to plug it in then so free to take pics etc. You can still plug it in once it connects within 5 seconds after start up though to keep charged.

I'm thinking of fitting the 17's instead of the rubber-band 18" wheels. I think the trade off of ride quality (and looks imo) over a slight handling improvement is worth it. Thoughts??
Went for the 17” straight away because of ride quality. Bumpy enough as is.

I had similar problems on my daily driver Peugeot 2008! I found using Andriod Auto was hit and miss until I read the forums and got a dedicated data cable. Make sure you replace The Boss's favourite mug that you left in the woods!🤣

Need to ensure your insurance allow you to drive. Some may want you to being a car green card which the insurance can give you. But not a requirement anymore. GB sticker on the back and that’s it

It was the standard exhaust
300 Euro, per linear ft. p/day mooring fee's. That was in 1996. Not sure what it is today.

@@StefABtv My wife and I done a trip down in her 2020 JCW Clubman and we'd be interested in your experience of its smaller brother. We took it easy on cruise control obeying speed limits and got 43 mpg on the way down even with enjoying the GP starts from all the peage.

Currently planning a road trip for 2022 which will be in a new car. The JCW has now made it into that shortlist of cars, and Monaco is still on the “to do” list
Just recently done a roadtrip to Monaco in my 2010 Cooper S with stage 1 tune. Definitely not the most comfortable car for long highway distances, but it makes up on the smaller twisty roads around Monaco. I think that the newer models are more comfortable on long trips, especially with the upgraded seats. Anyways highly recommend the Mini for such a trip.

Humans can make some beautiful things but I still prefer a more natural environment as it intended.
How was your journey down through France? Did you do it in one day? How easy was it in the Mini and what mpg did you get on the long run? Were your wife's arms long enough for the peage? My wife and I had to travel down to Cannes to clear out an apartment early this year and went down in her 2020 JCW Clubman in one hit because of travel restrictions. It was pretty easy. The French roads are generally much smoother and emptier than the UK. The sports suspension and low profile tyres wouldn't be so much of an issue over there. We chose 18" wheels and adaptive suspension on the Clubman for our awful UK roads and couldn't be happier with the comfort and lack of tramlining.

The Apple CarPlay issue isn’t just a mini problem…. Every car I’ve used in the past 4 yrs with Apple CarPlay on the oem or after market infotainment system had thrown a wobbly at some point ( this includesTesla, VW, hyundai, Toyota, Volvo, Ford, Kenwood, JVC)…. And it’s happening to every iPhone variant I’ve owned in the past 4 yrs
