    I will say this right quick -I would rather have a Pentastar 3.6 than a GM 3.6 .😂Also the oil sending unit could be bad aka oil pressure sensor.

    All those sparkplug tube seals don't go in the same way either. It varies from manufacturer. Some engines the seal goes in the way you think it should. Others appear upside down when mounting the valve cover, but on these engines that would be the correct way to slide over the sparkplug tubes.
    You can't always go by the way these sparkplug tube seals came out either. Someone may have installed these seals the wrong way!

    I stil dont get the point of the 3+++ liters.. you got less power of the v6-v8's anyway.. be smart engineers (less awesomness in sounds perhaps) but go inline 6 with a turboboost... last longer, grants tons more power..
    I admire sticking to habits tho😂

      @Unit_450 Місяць тому +2

      what r u talking about, first of all an inline 6 is a very tall motor and would hardly ever fit in a minivan engine bay, second the 3.6L is a good displacement engine, especially with camshaft phasers these engines can make power

      @@Unit_450 , they somehow rarly do come with camshafts.. with them, they work just fine indeed.. but pushrods has to die

    • @Unit_450
      @Unit_450 Місяць тому +1

      @@oddzi literally every engine in the modern automotive world uses a camshaft in it, a lot of them use camshaft phasers. Pushrod engines are simpler and make more power for less money.

    The Pcv is bull **** to deal with in the equinox those Engines should have never been built that way same goes for the 2.3 Mazdas

    Did you seriously hold the valve cover while installing the sparkplug gaskets. You're letting me down lately,how about putting a couple blocks of wood on the bench,high enough to clear the oil fill tube,and seating them while on a solid surface. Idk,just seems more safe and efficient than pounding air. Plus,I'm betting the seals would go in alot straighter. Smh. At least you didn't try to sell us Mopar gasket grease in this one.

      Bro you don't have to do anything you see me doing. If your way work for you, continue. I'm not here to change your mind. I'm just filming what I'm doing.

      @OnlineMechanicTips I get that,but people look to you for knowledge and to learn from your experience. Myself included. I've watched a majority of your videos on the 3.6 specifically. I think you might admitt,that was poor practice hitting the cover in the air,js. Just try and REMEBER,you have young mechanics looking to you for advice and practices. I will try and not be soo negative towards the next video! Keep up the good work,bro!

      if ur working on your car based off youtube then I would stop right there and just take it to a mechanic, second of all its a plastic valve cover so he should be installing them by hand not hammering them in, blocks of wood would only help that plastic crack

      UA-cam is were most DIY'ERS come to share a method that may make the repair easier or more complicated. Every person will do the repairs a little differently but will watch the disassembly and assembly to make the job go smoother. Knowing wat needs to be moved or removed to lessen the degree of difficulty is the reason I watch many UA-camrs. Sum only have a couple hundred subscribers but their experience is valuable to me

      @Unit_450 what are you doing here then? You just came to listen to his soothing voice? And no real mechanic would ever degrade someone for trying to learn,UA-cam or otherwise. Most of our learning comes from knowledge pasted down from one mechanic to another while gaining experiance. That's all I'm going to say to you.
