There has to be a rematch. That was intense. Either guy could had won that. Hunt is so fast and fearless, but he was getting caught consistently. Richman got them hands frfr.. Both dudes are badass fighters. 😎

I'm not a big fan of the rule that you're not allowed to attack an opponent after he goes down / to the mat. Should be like in the UFC or other MMA promotions. In a real fight Richman would have won within two minutes. You can't let a dude try again and again until he lands one lucky punch to be declared as the winner, although the other guy knocked him down and out several times before that.

@@GavinF003 I know the rules. But I could never accept the title if my oponent knocked me down several times before I did any damage to him. Only saved by the referee. The rules are BS and the title means nothing. Well, money.

An underrated detail that I believe helped win the fight: Lorenzo used his 8 count. He ignored the crowd fanfare and gave optics a back seat to compose himself. Very clever veteran move. Too often we see fighters spring up after getting dropped almost like a "look! I'm not hurt!" Putting bravado over focus.
he used it cause he needed every second of it. was getting manhandled. Richman got sloppy looking for KO.

that really looked like he was gonna lose, he was swinging rapidly and too hard at the beginning, getting knocked down made him be more careful, even though it was just for those 2 seconds. those 2 seconds mattered more than anything. that was awesome

A comeback implies a turn of events where the person losing turns it around and starts winning. That's not what happened. Hunt was all but finished and then landed one single lucky punch after an 8 count. That's not a comeback, that's literally the definition of a punchers chance. Hunt was completely out matched. Hopefully there is a rematch.

Happy richman is healthy and okay but this is easily one of the most satisfying yet terrifying knockouts in BKFC history, because Hunt had changed richman's species for a brief moment there from human to goldfish. That's how bad this knockout was.

The term punchers chance is a thing for a reason lol. Hunt has limited skill and relies strictly on his power. Richman has the boxing skill Hunt doesn't have and that's what we saw. Richman lost the fight himself by being to eager to drop him again and getting a smidge off timing.
Limited skill?? Hunt is beating everybody including Richman so if he has limited skill then what does it say about everybody else? Power alone is not enough to reach the top and stay there. Hunt's problem is that he is weak in the body. We saw that in this fight. If they fight again, Hunt will fight differently.
