I think this may be the first appearance of a temporary blue tape door/hatch handle in a Sail Life video.

Love your videos! Also considering refitting the sole of our boat. Can not wait to see some footage of her sailing.

Oliver Syväniemi Thank you so much :) I'm glad you enjoyed the videos :) If you decide to use isiteek I strongly advise using the adhesive they recommend. Mine has started letting go in a few locations most likely due to me using SikaFlex (I was unable to find the recommended adhesive)

David from Cruising the Cut recommended your site... I checked it out... I subscribed & decided to start from the beginning.
Totally enjoying your every man approach to your projects.

***** Wow! Living aboard in the winter up there takes a lot of courage but probably cheaper than living on land. Look forward to the vids you produce. I am about half way through them now. Gonna spread the word a little and see if we can up your views!

***** So cool! 700 Euro a year is very reasonable.
Like lin and larry say: Go simple, go small and go now!
I hope you are able to make that dream. Leaving all your stuff and sailing away is impossible for so many but I believe you are the kind of person that can do it. Confidence. Resourcefulness and adaptability are key. Being able to fix your own boat with duct tape and paperclips or whatever you have will make it possible. I may not be far behind you sir!

***** Teaching Scuba now for 10 years in the Carribbean. www.scubatony.com. So amazing how people from different sides of the planet have such similar interests. Indeed, no dive op on such a small boat. Hard to even squeeze a shower and kitchen on a boat that small but that is what I am looking forward too. A small simple life! with more freedom than I can handle. Sure wish I could convince my wife of the same dream.
Getting close to the end of your vids now. feeling sad.
My channel has a lot of old stuff. I am hoping to fill it up with sailing vids soon. We head for the Bahamas in November for at least 3 months.

Hey Mads, Is there a video of you putting in that vent that was in the end of this one? I love your dog, I hope he can continue to sail with you if you go full time. Fair Winds and Full Sails til next time.

Dennis Cline Hey Dennis, I think you are the first to notice the missing video. I lost a lot of the footage and never did make that video. Thank you :) He is a very good dog. I'm sure he'll turn out the be an awesome ships dog :)

After a while, how did the cover show itself ? Is it easy to clean? How can I fix the damage ? Does it fade with time ?

    Hello Mads!
Have you done anything to the rest of the cabin sole?
I want to change the carpet the PO put in my Monsun, but I also want to have insulation under the sole material! Maybe veneer with a vinyl cover will be my solution...
