Great video as usual 👍 But I want to point out on the 4th "Worst thing". • 4:46 of course the camera shutter will be slower than usual when you set the resolution to 108MP. • Also, the camera processing will obviously be samsung-ized, this is a Samsung phone after all. It's pretty much the same story with the Pixel's darker contrasty look and the iPhone's flatter look with aggressive HDR.
At 4:44 on camera shutter lag, you were shooting in 108mp mode. That's expected because of the sheer number of pixels. Does it still lag in normal 12mp mode?

Yea, we don't all agree that it's a great phone and battery life in the GOOD category? Were you using it at 60hz only? Because I have the phone and my Note10+ and the battery life is much better on the Note10+. Now if you use it at 60hz only then it's probably fine, but it's a 120hz display, so why would you? It is a nice phone, but Sammy really missed the point of the Note line with this one, the "everything phone" and with downgraded storage and worse battery life than the last gen, that's two significant downgrades and I can't recall any Note before it having anything in it being a downgrade from the previous generations until now. I have a question ? Mine is also 128 Gigs . Should I purchase a 512 gig Storage card ? Because someone told me it has a cloud ☁️ like my iPhone pro max iCloud. And it would be plenty of storage because of the cloud. I don’t take many photos or videos at all . And never play video games. But I do watch a lot of Netflix and HBO Etc.. so ; should I buy the micro SD card of 256 gigs or 512 gigs ? My iPhones in the last 2 years. I bought 512 gigs. I tried to get my note 20 ultra in 512 gigs but Verizon didn’t have one in stock and it would have been 2 weeks to order me this phone in 512 gigs. My best buddy RJ said he’s waiting for the Galaxy that opens up like a iPad. And I think 🤔 those are $1,800 dollars ? He bought one last year and the screen scratched in 2 weeks and he sent it back and bought the note 10 + Hopefully the second generation fold will have the new Invicta glass screen ? Yeah, your buddy was way a little off on the new Galaxy fold. And I think his issues was that built in screen protector that some people would clip. It's been fixed this year, but the victus glass won't be on the phone. Victus glass is glass, and thick glass can't fold.
If you're fine with 128GB, I would say just stick with it for now because 128GB still no small amount plus you said you're not utilizing much of the storage aside from Netflix & stuffs. But whenever you want extra storage, no worry, SD card is cheap as hell and easy to get. It's not like you're going to buy a whole new phone just to get more storage *cough iPhone 😅 Hope this helps & enjoy your new Note 🤭

I remember when he was showing me how to set it up ; I said where’s my FaceTime ; and my Siri ? Lol 😂 Bixby does so much more than Siri ! Only thing about that iPhone pro max ; the Face ID is so much better. And it’s the Only thing better than my note 20 ultra. Now RJ he got his new galaxy fold yesterday he loves it. But looking at it I’m not impressed much at all !! I personally prefer my note 20 ultra. I bought the white one .

Not that happy with it. DeX won't display correctly on a new 2020 samsung tv, but it shows correctly on a s10plus. So it works better wirelessly on the older model. Been in touch with Samsung and still no real help.

You can midigate the shutter delay but turning off motion under the settings. Also I thought that I would be bothered by going from 60hz @wqhd to the 120hz @fhd but it actually somehow looks more realistic to me. My biggest problem with the phone oddly enough is the battery. 6hours ost isn't that great
Also the down side or their camera app is they dont have a dedicated video recording botton for easy access you need to swipe and swipe to get on video button.

Having had the ultra for 2 weeks now my worst things are. Battery life, I struggle to get between 4/5 hours screen on time, that’s with 120hz off and 1080p resolution. Not being able to have google photos as my default photo app. I don’t want gallery. Not using the s pen much....seems such a waste lol. Cameras good especially zoom...but feel my iPhone 11 Pro a touch better overall.
I would say No 1 bad is Battery. I had USA version and it sucked with all settings set to conserve. Seriously no comparison to IPhone 11 Pro Max . I loved that phone but cannot deal with the battery not making it til 10p with very moderate use.
I didn't upgrade from note 10 plus to 20 ultra because of storage capacity. Storage is extremely important for a phone especially if the note 20 ultra is gonna have 3 years of dedicated updates , what were they thinking ? Why would I want to upgrade from 256 to 128
Man, idk of its my unit but the screen looks a bit opaque like not enough contrast. When I compare to my OnePlus 6t at full britness it just seems not as bright and the colors don't pop as much, I'm actually a bit disappointed. Has this happened to anyone else or is there a way to fix this?
Insufficient data. No one can answer that without more info on how you use the phones. They're virtually identical except for the cameras. Do you take lot of photos? S20. Do you game? S20. Otherwise, save our money.
So the real question is which is better? S20 Ultra or Note 20 Ultra? Leave the S Pen out of the equation. If you bought a s20 ultra would you return it for a Note 20 Ultra???
Note 20 ultra also has 256 GB of base storage, not 128... what are you talking about? And, also..the lag in the photo only exists when you take a photo at full 108MP. When you set it to the normal 12 MP or so image there is no lag
Strangely I've managed to make mine lagg. Its strange but its happened on WhatsApp, and even text message (i checked quickly as I wanted to check of it was just an app). Its still rare only happened once. BTW its exunos - doubt SD will have that issue lol
Please don't use "Great" word. Only the screen is better than other mobiles. In camera still have auto focus problem, only 5+ hours screen on time, mobile becomes very hot easily, adaptive refresh rate is not working properly and many problems. You need to think there is Exenos version also. Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra is better than Exenos version so don't generalized the comments on Note 20 Ultra is a great phone.

do you... not want a front camera? tbh I could go without but it's convenient to have. headphone jack is dead forever tbh, and I like the large size. I draw so the size and SPen latency combo is convenient, and I also read manga so the large screen is wayyy better than my previous s10e. if I want to use one handed I can just use the one handed mode. can't argue about price or exynos they suck although I got $500 off for my s10e, $150 preorder credit, and free wired earbuds
Battery life is trash. All I do is stream videos and I'm getting 4 hours. Paste from my Galaxy s20 ultra. Update - adoptive power savings changes the game! All settings including screen resolution stay the same and it doubles the battery life.
It's gotten a lot better. I'm averaging 8 hours of heavy usage since I turned on "adoptive power saving" mode. My screen is still at 120 and all of my other settings are the same. I'm much happier now!

No way. It can easily get 5 - 6 hours with medium - heavy usage. Snapdragon variant would probably get 6 - 7 hours

You just need to tweak a few things and you will get a lot more battery life

My shutter speed is slow in my N20U. When I take pics of my 4 yr old, most come out blurry. I came from a pixel 4xl...and I never had blurry oics
the only down side to this phone is that can't use quad HD while 120hz . beside that everything else is good.
Man, idk of its my unit but the screen looks a bit opaque like not enough contrast. When I compare to my OnePlus 6t at full britness it just seems not as bright and the colors don't pop as much, I'm actually a bit disappointed. Has this happened to anyone else or is there a way to fix this?

Insufficient data. No one can answer that without more info on how you use the phones. They're virtually identical except for the cameras. Do you take lot of photos? S20. Do you game? S20. Otherwise, save our money.

Note 20 ultra also has 256 GB of base storage, not 128... what are you talking about? And, also..the lag in the photo only exists when you take a photo at full 108MP. When you set it to the normal 12 MP or so image there is no lag
108 mp requires a significantly larger amount of processing.

Strangely I've managed to make mine lagg. Its strange but its happened on WhatsApp, and even text message (i checked quickly as I wanted to check of it was just an app). Its still rare only happened once. BTW its exunos - doubt SD will have that issue lol

Please don't use "Great" word. Only the screen is better than other mobiles. In camera still have auto focus problem, only 5+ hours screen on time, mobile becomes very hot easily, adaptive refresh rate is not working properly and many problems. You need to think there is Exenos version also. Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra is better than Exenos version so don't generalized the comments on Note 20 Ultra is a great phone.

In the US it's 128 GB with Exynos it's 256 GB

I regret buying samsung galaxy note 20 ultra its the worst phone it over heats fps drops alweys cant run 120hz with max resolution and it looks like phone from 2016 with this 780p resolution even tho its 1440/2800 it feels like its 780p i has 1440/3000 but it dosnt work with 120hz thats the problem already have death pixels bcs of overheating after 1 year and most games give you ghosting if you dont have case the battery dies so fast like i cant tell you how bad the phone is never buy it im never buying samsung agein ever the only good thing is it has sd card for more storage wich i dont even use bcs i have 300gb rom

do you... not want a front camera? tbh I could go without but it's convenient to have. headphone jack is dead forever tbh, and I like the large size. I draw so the size and SPen latency combo is convenient, and I also read manga so the large screen is wayyy better than my previous s10e. if I want to use one handed I can just use the one handed mode. can't argue about price or exynos they suck although I got $500 off for my s10e, $150 preorder credit, and free wired earbuds

Battery life is trash. All I do is stream videos and I'm getting 4 hours. Paste from my Galaxy s20 ultra.
Update - adoptive power savings changes the game! All settings including screen resolution stay the same and it doubles the battery life.
Dang that is horrible!! I wanted to try this Note but no thanks with that price tag and poor battery results it put out.
It's gotten a lot better. I'm averaging 8 hours of heavy usage since I turned on "adoptive power saving" mode. My screen is still at 120 and all of my other settings are the same. I'm much happier now!
