Anyone ever tasted _actual_ oxygen, not just the stuff that's full of roadway run-off?
    This is easy.

Actually tomato is one of the few foods where I actually really can notice a distinctive difference between homegrown and the ones in the supermarket.
    Still, this is gold.

Comes down to what cultivars they use. A lot of tomato varieties are to delicate for bulk transport and therefore only get stocked in farmers markets or as seeds for purchase.

So you're saying, M&W are wrong, but also they are brilliant
Just say that the sketch is flawed, don't apologize for it
No need to feel bad for being correct

@@drtoonie IIRC, the guy who selected the supermarket cultivar knew perfectly well that it was tasteless and didn't care, the rotter. That said, I usually buy grape tomatoes from the supermarket instead, and those are bursting with flavor.

I most certanly prefer tomatoes that comes from a plant over those that doesn't.

The homemade ones, fertilised with the growers own fertiliser, are by far the best. They have that certain something, that supermarket ones don't.

Starbucks sells cocktails with coffee flavour.

Mitchell has complained elsewhere about coffee snobbery. And he's right!
Also why the "Mitchell and Webb Look" logo, when this has no M&W look? I suspect this is M&W Sound.

I feel so conflicted about this sketch.
I agreed with David's character completely on the tomatoes, 'cause there IS a big difference if you had grandparents growing them at home and are used to them being juicy and tasty and not bland. Then I was 100% behind Robb for the chocolate thing. *Then* I was in the middle for Starbucks, but leaning more towards David... and I must say, various types of water do really taste differently!

You'll taste a difference between soft water and hard water but it does not make any sense to spend a fiver on, allegedly, glacier water when something with a barely a difference in taste, or none depending on the person or the alternative option being purchase.

No, it's the other way round! How can your opinions exist in such a wrong way!!!
For chocolate is *definitely* that bitter thing.

In all seriousness, Starbucks is terrible and overpriced and the coffee is usually burned.
