I know you made this video ages ago, but your tutorials have helped me so damn much! Never would’ve thought this would be possible but thankfully you’ve made these videos!
I know this video is old, but if you see this, is there any reason why after adding several reflection probes that my map now stutters? I have a high end pc with 3070 ti so I don't think the hardware is the issue. I also ran the game on low settings and the stuttering stayed the same.
Hey man you are absolutley amazing, i've used unreal engine to make arch-viz shit for work but now with radiant i'm having alot of problems, for examble when i am using a reflection probe it fucks up my exposure or sun settings for some reason and i could not make an indoor env without having a fucked up sun light, do you have any clue?
Thanks! Sorry for responding so late, UA-cam loves to not give me notifications. There is a way and I'll be covering Exposure & Global Illumination next once I get an internet connection again as i'm away for work.
@@Disfyncial Subtracting space from a probe can take longer to bake however if you want to override more than one probe over the already overriden space you will need to use a subtraction probe. Subtraction probes are great for specific things. If you're only trying to override an area, just use an override probe.
The cursing in this video makes it at least 27% more informative, Amazing tutorial though, it amazing how many google searches and YT Searches ive done over the years and still managed to find someone better

Yeah it's manual on my end :p
Is there a way to make one of these conform to a cylinder?
how do you make one of those roof pyramids?
what's the difference between subtraction probes and using the override setting?
Well one subtracts space from the reflection probe and the other overrides it.
VerK0 i should of worded it better: what difference does it make if you use one over the other if they essentially have the same effect?
