Emoting is cool atleast you know the opponent isn't a bot and is taking an effort to interact with you. Especially when you pulled off a miracle of an RNG and they respond with a wow. That's how you know you're in for a chumbus time. Never change MartianGuu!

@@Humandefect spamming the emotes are a good tell to bots. They'll always copy the selection, so if you threaten they'll do the same or hello even oops

It baffles me how HS players see just saying “well played” in a non toxic way. It’s mental to me.
To me, it’s cordial to emote a “hello” or a “threat” before you even summon anything. I also find the latter silly.
Now, OVER emoting in a way to purposefully annoy or irritate is just really bad sportsmanship.
Note! I feel I do the silly emotes the most when playing really stupid “20% win rate decks.” The juxtaposition of a showing of “overconfidence” whilest using a “””bad””” deck is hilarious to me.
Also: saying or receiving a wow after something mental happens is always fun.

As a fellow hater of combo, in it's current state anyway, I'm reminded why exactly I love netdecking. I have like very few cards lol, so it's hard for me to come up with decks. However it's SO satisfying to see that I'm on the right track. I was making this deck because of how the meta is, so thanks for dropping this and giving me a boost of dopamine! I guess I'm smart now :)

I really like your thoughts at the end of the video! I think that sportsmanlike play is rarely ever the norm, showcased, or encouraged in online games.
I genuinely think this is such a shame coming from sports as a younger kid. Having mutual respect for your opponent allows you to discuss the game afterwards and potentially bond over it. A magnanimous winner can change a sour losers attitude, but that’s just almost never seen in a e sports environment.
The amount of times I’ve been added after any esports game to be trash talked is almost uncountable. The inverse where someone really means GG and is maybe curious about your deck, build, pathing etc. leads to such positive interactions and friendships it’s a genuine shame games don’t do more to foster it.
No one said you had to be nice, but a little bit of respect for the opponent and the game/tournament itself changes the makeup of the esports scene so much.

I personally enjoy running Bru'kan (the 8 mana hero card) purely for his greeting emote - "Come, now... Give old Bru'kan a hug". I ALWAYS use it as a gg because its really funny. One day a guy added me to i sult me after he got tilted by this very emote lmao

I've already said this in last video comments but you probably didn't see it, but try some reno dh just for the kurtrus, he ruins a lot of combo decks (so probably no renathal works better)

Dane showcased a thief priest a week or two back that absolutely obliterated combo decks in wild. I think you might have a lot of fun with stealing win cons and it could brighten your wild experience.

To this doll, having come from YGO with its extreme toxicity: it understands where the anti 'gg' from winner vibe comes from. Like its easy to note sore losers a lot in presence, but theres also a LOT of sore winners in general. And honestly, the amount of 'Well Played' that gets tossed around when you clearly bricked or didnt get to play creates a priming for tilting.
It knows its guilty of dripping the WP at the end of games whee it pulls out an uno reverse a fair bit out of frustration and malice, and thats something it can get being asked to curb to create a more inviting and cordial atmosphere.
This doll does love the game, and doesnt mind losing, but it can get how sometimes you dont feel the tilt coming in advance.
I was curious on why you stopped participao on tournaments, now I know.
Also, like I always say, great to see quest mage losing 😅

i really don’t see why they can’t make quest mage a once per game effect, or delete the spell school or something it’s been played for so long with such frustrating results
Probably idk the coding but changing a quest reward is different than just changing an integer on a card like with how they usually balance cards. Not to mention once per game effect is harder to program or foolproof since spell is easily copied.
@@Humandefect they’ve made cards that are not discoverable, also cards like heart stone brew and the priest dragon are both once per game effects. it doesn’t matter if it’s sort of difficult to implement if it’s oppressive

Priest decks, or should I say meta, is still broken.
I only play ranked, in the silver still, and I'd say I vs. a priest deck easily every 3rd game. It's annoying.
Activate the Obelisk, Psychopomp, Convincing Infiltrator, Wretched Reclaimer, Khartut Defender. Deck done
For the record, I play only Wild, Galakrond Rogue with Flik, Heistbaron and Kronx.

emote complaining is silly when there is the mute option. Also that gg thing you talked about is ridiculous, how on earth is saying gg post match toxic.
Aw man the anti GG culture gives me hives man. Sign the match slip, shake my hand, and say good game with your head up, for chrissake.
Have one tech card for every matchhup. Then add another one. And another one! You can now beat any deck in the game, including the mirror, thanks to the tech cards!
