- A dream comes true: for the first time in its history, BMW M’s model range will be complemented by a BMW M3 Touring. This is the second episode of the BMW M3 Touring story, which takes us from the development process to the ultimate endurance test on the Nordschleife. Stay tuned for the next episode.

BMW M3 Competition Sedan: Fuel consumption weighted combined in l/100km: 9.8 (WLTP), CO2 emissions weighted combined in g/km: 224-223 (WLTP)
BMW 330d xDrive Touring: Fuel consumption weighted combined in l/100km: 6,2 - 5,5 (WLTP), CO2 emissions weighted combined in g/km: 163 - 144 (WLTP)
Official data on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP. Greetings from my hometown Munich the very home of M Town!!!
Such a shame that they discontinued the European Delivery program (for US customers, at least) We did the European Delivery for our 2008 “year 1 of the 1” 135i and I would say it still ranks as one of the highlights of MY LIFE. We spent 10 days driving all around Germany, including 2 gentle laps on the Nurburgring, and I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience! ❤️

There will be a rwd option for the touring and I think the non competition version comes manual

Its great activity vehicle, you leave dog, wife, kids and packages in hotel, and go for a ride.
I have the M3 competition xdrive for six months now. I thought I would drive like 10.000km per year with it. But after these six months I already did 17.800km with it 🤦🏾♂️. I just love the car. It is such a perfect car to drive. I hope that the Touring will be as exciting to drive as the saloon.

So funny, when I got my 135i (year 1 of the 1) it was supposed to be my new primary vehicle but it wound up being almost strictly a weekend and track car. I joked that it had more miles on a trailer than it did on the street, and really, it probably wasn’t too far from the truth. I just loved the car so much that I was terrified to drive it for normal day-to-day use and park it anywhere. Looking back, of course, I regret it because i squandered some of my time with it, but I will say that, despite only putting less than 20,000 miles on it in 4 years, i probably went through 5 or 6 sets of tires. 😏

As an owner of 3 euro-spec Tourings (E6, E36 x2) in the US, this car needs to come to the US.
Eine Freude, dass es solche positiven Entscheidungen, mit einer gewissen Wagnis, noch gibt innerhalb einer AG. Der Wagen wird sicher weit mehr als 100k Euro kosten, aber ein Traum auf jeden Fall!

yep, they had a chance to fix the front end, and they flopped. They probably got the go ahead, purely because they kept the ugly front end.

Same as this is not a M4 Touring, the "M2 Touring" would be a 1 series. As the 1 series is too small for proper Touring bodystyle, it's a hatchback. So, the M140i is the closest you can get to a "M2 Touring". Btw, it would be called 1 M, because there can't be a new, compact class, M1.

Ich fahre selbst einen F31 und habe mir das Fahrzeug beim Kauf schon mal vorgestellt wenn es das als richtigen M geben würde….
Nun sehe ich das und muss sagen einfach nur Wow
