Truly appreciate it. What are some topics that you'd find valuable to see me cover? I have some cool stuff coming as I continue to have fun and experiment, but always one to suggestions.
@@Sahil_Bloom you are the friend I've never met. :) I think most of the times, people when join a job after university they are stuck and the voices will hold them for rest of the life. And struggle to get out of the pay-check cycle. I would like you to illuminate the rest of the world about the concept of money and financial literacy. And how to make choices resisting the comforting devil's voice.
@@Sahil_Bloom the daily vlogs are great. They give a real look into what it’s like to be a husband, father and business owner. As well as all the other things you do.
Really love the content! What resonated a lot with me is the "doing hard things". I think its very easy to get in a rut and just roll with the punches. Forcing yourself to do hard things helps make you mentally resilient and making sure you're learning something new or working on something meaningful ensures that you keep growing.
There is something you said that has stuck in my mind and resonated so deeply ~ minute 8:43 “instead of prioritizing, the destination by focusing on prioritizing people in relationships, you ultimately end up in the best destinations and amazing experiences” For someone who has destination addiction. This is so profoundly simple and I am following this concept through starting now. Thank you!!!
This was awesome Sahil! I’ve been binge watching your social media content recently and have learned a ton and it’s been great to see someone produce genuine content with the sole intention to create positive change. It would be dope to maybe get your take on how some of these principles you apply to your life could translate to someone in their early professional years. I think many viewers may not have the job autonomy or financial freedom that you’ve achieved yet, so understanding how to apply these principles you talk about in this video in a day to day setting in the early 20’s would be cool. I believe you also worked in PE/high finance before pivoting to creating content, so I think it would be super helpful to understand how your priorities and goals have changed over the course of the last decade for you. Look forward to watching more!
@@Sahil_Bloom aww no, you’re clearly an inspiration to many (and growing quickly, too)! Best wishes to you and your family and a special hello to the little one 🌷
Sahil, This is the most fantastic AND RELEVANT content I have ever seen. Every aspect. They say that we are born with the instinct of empathy, but that it is not exercised or developed n our competitive society. They also say that those suffering a low development of empathy exhibit a high incidence of living an unhappy life.~ Those are your segment, you can inspire so many.🏆
I really look forward to seeing these videos you post!!! Impactful content and practical too!!! Your previous video on the ABC goal system really helped me out!!!
Watched this one from start to finish (again) and enjoyed every second! It’s one thing to read your content on X, but even better to see everything in action! Here’s a suggestion for future content: maybe break down your routines around creative work (like writing on socials, book writing, etc). Keep it crushing, Sahil!
First off, truly appreciate that. It's really fun building a platform from scratch, and the tiny size to start makes the comments from the true day ones here more meaningful to me. Second, great idea. Will add that to the list for something to create in future.
Love these videos Sahil! Awesome to hear your thoughts and perspectives. Curious what time you go to bed to get up so early and how you can do it consistently. When I wake up really early, I get brain fog while doing deep work anytime after noon. Tips?
Such an amazing vlog. Thanks for letting us inside to see whats really important. I feel like the one thing that is hard to find is people who are going after it in entrepreneurship while keeping family the priority. Keep up the good work! Also let me know if there is anyone you look up to who does the family work balance well? Cheers!
These are amazing Sahil, now it became my part of routine to watch your video - Cold Wisdom or others like this and I actually wait for the video every evening (I am from India). I really wish I can make and follow such routine some day. 🤞🤞 I hear you saying manifest couple of times, do you believe in it and if possible, can you make a video on the same? Thank you!!
I think that manifestation is mostly about confirmation bias. When you truly believe something, you start finding evidence to confirm it, which leads to you creating more of it, and so forth.
Come visit me in Maine if you ever get close. For many months we don't need any devices to get cold! I do lots of fun/hard things every week. Come have an adventure anytime.
This was brilliant Sahil! Been following you for a while now and I love your mindset and have been developing this over the past year or so. Quick question if I don’t have access to a sauna at home or every day (sometimes I use it at a gym), can an uncomfortable hot shower mimic the same results? Or something else you’d recommend because I love the effects of a sauna but sometimes don’t have access to it.
So thrilled you find value in it. As for sauna, hot shower before bed definitely leads to the same benefits for me in terms of sleep improvement and calming to end the evening. That's what I do when I'm on the road/traveling. Not uncomfortably hot, don't want to burn yourself. Just a nice, hot shower.
I take ~5 minutes to warm up naturally on the deck, doing body squats, some pushups, jumping jacks. Then I take a quick hot shower if it's winter, since I'd still be cold.
How long is it between getting up and getting back to your house? One of my biggest excuses is not having the time....I'd like to eliminate it....I will.

I actually don’t think any of these require a significant degree of autonomy. They may have to be weekly rules vs daily given how work can slam you.

thanks so much for these words - very relevant. completely agree that living with more empathy is one of the keys to the good life.
I take cold showers every morning and can hardly handle it. I can't even imagine what it's like to dunk every morning like you do. Good on you!
Honestly I think showers are harder than full immersion. Something about the water droplets is hard.
