      @@Sahil_Bloom you are the friend I've never met. :)
      I think most of the times, people when join a job after university they are stuck and the voices will hold them for rest of the life. And struggle to get out of the pay-check cycle. I would like you to illuminate the rest of the world about the concept of money and financial literacy. And how to make choices resisting the comforting devil's voice.

    Really love the content! What resonated a lot with me is the "doing hard things". I think its very easy to get in a rut and just roll with the punches. Forcing yourself to do hard things helps make you mentally resilient and making sure you're learning something new or working on something meaningful ensures that you keep growing.

    There is something you said that has stuck in my mind and resonated so deeply ~ minute 8:43 “instead of prioritizing, the destination by focusing on prioritizing people in relationships, you ultimately end up in the best destinations and amazing experiences”
    For someone who has destination addiction. This is so profoundly simple and I am following this concept through starting now. Thank you!!!

    This was awesome Sahil! I’ve been binge watching your social media content recently and have learned a ton and it’s been great to see someone produce genuine content with the sole intention to create positive change. It would be dope to maybe get your take on how some of these principles you apply to your life could translate to someone in their early professional years. I think many viewers may not have the job autonomy or financial freedom that you’ve achieved yet, so understanding how to apply these principles you talk about in this video in a day to day setting in the early 20’s would be cool. I believe you also worked in PE/high finance before pivoting to creating content, so I think it would be super helpful to understand how your priorities and goals have changed over the course of the last decade for you. Look forward to watching more!

    • @Sahil_Bloom
      @Sahil_Bloom  10 місяців тому +1

      I actually don’t think any of these require a significant degree of autonomy. They may have to be weekly rules vs daily given how work can slam you.

    Sahil, This is the most fantastic AND RELEVANT content I have ever seen. Every aspect. They say that we are born with the instinct of empathy, but that it is not exercised or developed n our competitive society. They also say that those suffering a low development of empathy exhibit a high incidence of living an unhappy life.~ Those are your segment, you can inspire so many.🏆

    These are amazing Sahil, now it became my part of routine to watch your video - Cold Wisdom or others like this and I actually wait for the video every evening (I am from India).
    I really wish I can make and follow such routine some day. 🤞🤞

    Thank you!!

    • @Sahil_Bloom
      @Sahil_Bloom  10 місяців тому

      I think that manifestation is mostly about confirmation bias. When you truly believe something, you start finding evidence to confirm it, which leads to you creating more of it, and so forth.

    This was brilliant Sahil! Been following you for a while now and I love your mindset and have been developing this over the past year or so. Quick question if I don’t have access to a sauna at home or every day (sometimes I use it at a gym), can an uncomfortable hot shower mimic the same results? Or something else you’d recommend because I love the effects of a sauna but sometimes don’t have access to it.

    • @Sahil_Bloom
      @Sahil_Bloom  10 місяців тому

      So thrilled you find value in it. As for sauna, hot shower before bed definitely leads to the same benefits for me in terms of sleep improvement and calming to end the evening. That's what I do when I'm on the road/traveling. Not uncomfortably hot, don't want to burn yourself. Just a nice, hot shower.

    Do you warm up naturally, or are you going into a hot shower or sauna afterwards?

    • @Sahil_Bloom
      @Sahil_Bloom  10 місяців тому

      I take ~5 minutes to warm up naturally on the deck, doing body squats, some pushups, jumping jacks. Then I take a quick hot shower if it's winter, since I'd still be cold.

    Sahil Bloom's "5 Simple Daily Rules That Changed My Life" provides a structured approach to living a fulfilling and purposeful life.
    Rule 1: Wake Up Early and Get Cold
    Why it's Important:
    Waking up early and subjecting oneself to cold temperatures helps in building resilience and mental toughness.
    It provides solitude and quietness, allowing for focused planning and preparation for the day ahead.
    Action Guide:
    Set Your Alarm Early: Aim to wake up at least an hour earlier than your usual time.
    Cold Exposure: Incorporate a cold shower or cold plunge into your morning routine. Start with lukewarm water and gradually decrease the temperature.
    Embrace the Silence: Utilize the early morning hours for quiet reflection, planning, and goal-setting.
    Establish a Morning Ritual: Create a consistent morning routine that includes activities like stretching, meditation, or journaling to center your mind.
    Rule 2: Work on Something Meaningful
    Why it's Important:
    Continuous learning and meaningful work foster personal growth and fulfillment.
    It stimulates curiosity and creativity, leading to innovative ideas and solutions.
    Action Guide:
    Identify Meaningful Projects: Reflect on your goals and aspirations to determine projects or subjects that resonate with you.
    Allocate Time Daily: Dedicate a specific time each day to work on these projects or engage in learning activities.
    Read Regularly: Incorporate reading into your daily routine, whether it's articles, books, or research papers related to your interests.
    Engage in Discussion: Seek out opportunities to engage with others who share similar interests or expertise to broaden your perspectives.
    Rule 3: Make Savage The Body
    Why it's Important:
    Prioritizing physical health and fitness ensures longevity and vitality.
    It instills discipline and resilience, contributing to overall well-being and mental clarity.
    Action Guide:
    Regular Exercise: Schedule regular workouts, incorporating a mix of cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training.
    Nutrition: Prioritize whole foods and balanced meals to fuel your body adequately.
    Rest and Recovery: Ensure sufficient rest and recovery periods between workouts to prevent burnout and injury.
    Mindful Movement: Incorporate activities like yoga or meditation to enhance body awareness and relaxation.
    Rule 4: Spend Time with People You Love
    Why it's Important:
    Relationships and connections with loved ones enrich life's experiences and provide support during challenging times.
    Prioritizing quality time with family and friends strengthens bonds and nurtures emotional well-being.
    Action Guide:
    Schedule Quality Time: Set aside dedicated time in your schedule to spend with family and friends, whether it's regular dinners, outings, or virtual hangouts.
    Meaningful Conversations: Engage in meaningful conversations to deepen relationships and foster understanding.
    Express Gratitude: Show appreciation and gratitude for the people in your life through gestures, words, or acts of kindness.
    Be Present: Practice active listening and be fully present during interactions, minimizing distractions and focusing on genuine connection.
    Rule 5: Make Still The Mind
    Why it's Important:
    Cultivating mental stillness and mindfulness promotes clarity, focus, and emotional resilience.
    It allows for reflection, stress reduction, and the processing of thoughts and emotions.
    Action Guide:
    Mindful Practices: Explore various mindfulness techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or progressive muscle relaxation to quiet the mind.
    Journaling: Dedicate time to journaling, allowing thoughts and emotions to flow freely onto paper for reflection and processing.
    Sauna Sessions: Incorporate sauna sessions into your routine, combining heat exposure with reflective journaling for mental and physical rejuvenation.
    Gratitude Practice: End each day by reflecting on moments of gratitude and appreciation, fostering a positive mindset and emotional well-being.
    By incorporating Sahil Bloom's five simple daily rules into your life and following the actionable steps outlined for each rule, you can cultivate a lifestyle focused on growth, well-being, and meaningful connections.
