I purchased a HD Premier X2 from a guy who had it new since 1965 for 1,500 with original 75,000 on the clock interior was extremely clean with no damage at all and paint was in very good condition too.. Car was from Muir’s Holden Ashfield with books etc. I felt guilty so I gave him 3k
I'd go for the X2 engine for the Holden HR. Not only is it the most powerful engine offered, it also comes with what I consider proper instrument gauges, rather than stupid warning lights.

The road scenes are beyond Licola, north of Heyfield in Victoria. The horses are filmed on Basin Flat, on Glenfalloch, further down the Macalister River from Licola.
We had a wagon X2. Can't say I remember it being turbo smooth, but it was our family hauler until 72 when we got a HQ Monaro GTS.
