Former wildland fire officer here: don't wait till it's too late. Have "go bags" ready for each member of the household with water, healthy snacks, spare clothes, toiletries, medications, flashlights, chargers for devices, and important documents. Have pet carriers ready with supplies, including food, water, and bowls. Make plans ahead and know where you're going to go. Rehearse your plan, even just talking thru it - that will make it easier when the time comes. No longer in CA but still in fire management - thoughts with everybody.
Brilliant reporting, I mean, who needs to know exactly where the evacuations are, except, oh, maybe the people who are supposed to evacuate? Rename: NO-News Channel 3-12
