Welcome to the first step of my journey in creating my own manga! In this video series, I’ll be documenting my progress, sharing insights, and hopefully helping you with your own manga creation process. Please do support the channel and this new series. It really is a huge dream of my to create my own Manga!
ill say one thing what separates cartoons and comics from manga and anime is the authors giving their all into their stories even willing to die for their works like togashi truly pouring your all into your craft i don't believe the west can replicate that but keep going bro
This is beautiful man. I'm currently writing my story (which is inspired by BLEACH!) and I'll be real from what I've seen so far with your drawings, you are definitely getting places!
Kishotenketsu is my favorite story structure. It's the one I grew up with through anime and manga, and it's the one I'll be using in my story because it comes so naturally to me. You got this Imran!
I respect the hell out of you for doing this Glazing or critizing other authors will never be as valubule as making your own project. You really earn new level of respekt for even smallest of panels every chapter becomes something to learn from. I look forward to watch your growth.
It' so interesting to see your own Manga defienitily if it's inspired by Bleach, Dragon Ball, One Piece and Naruto defienitily Bleach I know that your Manga would be nice! I would love to try to make my own Manga, but i'm not that good drawer, but i'm glad that I have "How to draw Manga" book so with that I can learn it. If I will make my own Manga I would not get an inspiration from anyone I would make my own because I don't wan't to get people angry by mimic some anime, but if I have to take an inspiration it will be my favourite Anime Pokemon, Bleach or My Hero Academia can't wait i'm so excited to see your Manga and after that maybe even your anime someday! 😮🔥
Dude this is gonna be so friggin sick! I'm so pumped I can't wait to see your story. Just remember to pace yourself 💜 burnout is so brutal (Brief addendum, if you haven't already read/heard about the series called bakuman it's about the mangaka experience and I'd be so down to see you talk about it in a video someday. Word of warning though if ya haven't read it yet, it's wordy as a mug lol)
Awesome thanks so much for this DBZimran I'm planning to writer/author first before i get into drawing/animation with my friend I'm creating my own supernatural dark fantasy series that's heavily inspired by Bleach Shadowhunters: TMI Resident Evil/Biohazard Supernatural Academy The Legend Of Vox Machina and Lego Monkie Kid this definitely inspired to be a great writer like tite kubo and many more who inspired me and it will be a written book instead of a manga/comic because I'm not that good of an artist yet and i feel like writing a book is easy for me tbh 😅
I know it probably wasn't your intention to be insulting but it irks me when making manga on the professional level is presented as being "easy" simply because you can draw well and you read up on Japanese story structures and look its all good to know and I do think you meant for it to be an informative and inspiring video. But the reality is most mangaka have been through setbacks and failures and rejection and a very small number of them actually "make it" even when they have great art and even when they DO "make it" there may be conflicts with their editors/publishers. Furthermore with you already having an established built in audience from your reviews which I'm sure took a lot of effort in of itself it still is a bit of an advantage in how you can post your artwork and get feedback whether good or bad quickly whereas someone without that audience can post the best art (or the worst) and just get crickets because the market is oversaturated and what not. Finally if you are not already a talented artist while you can get better its not something that happens overnight however if you keep drawing you will get better although maybe not as fast as you would hope for. That all said I do think it is cool you are making your own manga and best of luck to you. I am too or rather I am making comics but I have zero talent. Still its what I want to do ever since I was little. Im just saying you gotta be passionate and willing to fail. Manga does not get rich quick.
"Write a story like Bleach,Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto" Do you think "time and effort" or knowing Japanese story structure is all it takes to be on their level of making manga? Or hell even to just sell manga? I don't.
I'm surprised that there was no mention of Joseph Campbell & "The Heroes Journey" Is this perhaps this formula wasn't necessary for your method of writing?

Yep I read Bakuman when it was releasing weekly, love it!
I love the idea of this series. Helping young creators like myself. Shame i can't draw😅
Would love to see your ideas brought to life!
This is so interesting

Nobody is denying that it takes a lot of time and effort.

@@mrsticky005 You seem awfully negative, don't project your insecurities onto others who are trying.
I wasn't projecting anything but whatever best of luck to you, your channel and your manga.
i wish you luck
First 🎉
I'm surprised that there was no mention of Joseph Campbell & "The Heroes Journey"
Is this perhaps this formula wasn't necessary for your method of writing?
Heroes Journey is too overused, I want to try something different.
Why does the livestreams always get taken down
Interesting, though admittedly, I tuned out at the Naruto part since I have a massive hatred toward the series and the author.
It's a story analysis, I cover the chapter 1 of Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball and One Piece. Skip the Naruto bit if you don't like it that much...
@@DBZimran Yeah, that's what I did. Thx.
