    Thank you so much for your video. You alleviated (mostly) my fear of drilling a hole into a musical instrument with a power tool. 😬 I've just added buttons to both of my ukuleles, doing it just how you said, and . . . wow, it worked! So happy now.

    Does it harm the instrument if you do it yourself? Like will tuning never be the same? Or how do you know if you ruined it? For me, i would be putting it on a cheaper laminated wood model. (a Kala one) Any feedback would help! Thanks!

      As long as it has that little block of wood in the bottom like he showed, and you drill into that with a pilot hole first then it won’t have any negative impact on the uke. It certainly won’t affect the tuning or sound!

    Where do you get the short screws? I have the buttons but they are for guitars and therefore too long. Can I order the screws from your company?
