- Even though I'd already done genetic testing with Dante Labs, I couldn't resist going for another round for one specific reason - Dante Labs introduced Tasso's DIY blood sampling method to their process!
I was so curious to see how it all worked, if it was painful or not, and of course, getting a peek at my genetic test results is always fascinating.
So here's how my experience unfolded.
Sometimes sampling with Tasso can go too slowly and not collect volume needed, so you might want to be sure well hydrated and also warm arm very well to dilate blood vessels and maximize blood flow.
Good tips!
Great review, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Is it available in market?how much it costs
I would be tempted to repeat this Test using a Pseudo name & alternative address to see if results were the Same!!
How long did it take for the skin to heal? A friend used one of these recently and found it caused a surprisingly long cut which then took quite a while to fully heal. This wasn't so much a problem as a surprise.
And the version she got intended the vial to be separated and sent back on its own. Leaving her with quite a big lump of possibly contaminated plastic to dispose of. (Saying "possibly" because if it doesn't actually carry any disease, just what is the contamination that matters?)
However, it was much easier and less painful than the typical finger prick lance approach. But also much more expensive.
It didn't need to heal, the cut was so small.
not theranos? 😅
It took Daante labs 1.5 years to give me the results
Awful. What did they say?
@@Medicalfuturist Nothing. They just kept saying that they are experiencing delays. Meanwhile, they kept advertising their kit. At the same time, some people who submitted their kit way later than I did received their results way before me. No explanation why. I emailed Dantelabs every week for 1.5 years. Most of the time I did not even receive a reply.
