A stock new rx8 on dyno Is around 190/195 hp: i read Years ago in a forum that this Is because if the ECU reads that rear wheels are spinning too much faster than the front ones, then It automatically cut power
4:45 Anyone else noticing the Simon's Cat "Feed Me" decals at the fuel door? XD Don't be sad that the RX8 has less torque than the 2L MX-5. Rotary engines never had much torgue, that's why all the RPMs are for. Unless you want to pull a caravan with it, don't mind too much.
Another good video. I've owned my RX8 for 14 years, and I still find some of your content informative. Also, if you are getting 187hp at the wheels, that is a reasonably healthy Renesis. Will keep following your content. (Planning to do an N/A 20B for my RX8 when it's time, but, my engine is still healthy, so, more time to save for the project. I have the 20B, but that's just the beginning of the cost.)
Redshift42 ulala, I like the sound of.that 😄 will you be doing.videos or is it more of a private free time project ? Anyways, send pics on my fb page ,so I can.see your progress also 😊 187hp at the crank unfortunately. I asked the dyno operator several times to be sure, and sadly it is at the crank
Thank. Honestly not sure yet. I'm not a big "sharer" with that stuff, but, I just might when the time comes. Last I test my engine I was between 107-112 on all faces, so, not in a rush. Just putting the finishing touches on a 6-port Turbo FC convertible project for my wife. Then I need to replace the coolant seals in my race car (FC, full bridge port with RX8 rotating assembly) before I can think about the 20B.
She did a lot of the work her self. :) I think I'm the one who got luck on this deal. We also have an engine we are building up with forged internals for her MazdaSpeed Protege. So many projects, but, will get to the RX8 soon enough.
Normal compression numbers are around 8 bar or 115-120psi. RX8s known for high exhaust gas temperatures that can burn up the cats. You could replace the cat with straight pipe and just swap the cat in for vehicle inspections.
Can't decide if I want the RX8 I'm in Japan and the cheap ones are around 30~50k and the more expensive ones are around 130k. on another note, your videos are high quality and to the point without click bait so I enjoy them quite a bit :) I'm sure you'll get more subscribers!
Thank you so much man! These are the kind of comments that boost my motivation :D That's a lot, i've seen ones on trade car view, that are around 6000€ and they are pretty good :) Check it out: www.tradecarview.com/used_car/mazda/rx-8/?gfr=topsidemenu
under the passenger side rear 2005 RX8 fuel leak drivers side no leak passenger side just has a wire connection what is this and why is it leaking and how do I fix, this is no the fuel pump side no?
The chassis dyno numbers of 187rwhp & 130rwtq (176Nm) are normal for a decent healthy RX8 engine. Apply a 15% drivetrain loss and you have 220hp & 153lbft at the flywheel. That's close to the factory-rated 228hp & 156lbft. The MX5 put down 153rwhp & 136rwtq (185Nm). Apply the same 15% drivetrain loss and you have an impressive 180hp & 160lbft at the flywheel. That's 22hp & 21lbft above the factory-rated 158hp & 139lbft so I assume it has some upgrades.
Yes, the mx5 has some upgrades. Interesting, thanks for the info man. I'll do a compression test anyway to see where my engine is at. Atm, it feels and runs very good, only thing is a shaky and unstable idle, but i think it's caused by the cat.
Numbers vary widely with rotaries in general since they require lots of air to make power. using multiple fans doesn't provide enough moving air to cool the engine as well as provide ambient cool air. Also weight needs to be factored more accurately.. the rx8 will punch above its weight class, for instance early 350z's on paper are faster than the rx8 but actually aren't.
CLV$$Y I agree. And also the test was done right after I came from.the highway (110km trip in.30°) and the air was very hot in general. But to be sure, ill do a compression test, so ill know the health of the engine😊
Nice dyno video ! BTW, you can't have 231hp on the wheels and that's pretty normal. You should have around 190hp at the wheels because of prop shaft, LSD and maybe a used clutch. Those things eat nearly 20% and maybe more of whats coming out of your engine and its the same for every RWD car (look for "RWD drivetrain power loss" on Google, some nice websites talking about that). At crank, nearly 210-220hp if your engine is healthy.
Killy1789 thanks for.the info. Ill see what the co.pression results say about the engine's health. The clutch should get a checkup. Ill take care of the major things throughout autumn/winter 😊
Yes, and i think that is one of my major issues. Since i've put a new car on, my idle started being unstable and the car is very shaky, as if it could't expell all the gasses fast enough... i'll put a de-cat in a few weeks on, and we'll the the difference.
Driven by madness I gutted my cat, it's a track car now lol, fireball's shoot out from backfiring. I have the second motor from recall with 20k. Don't let the cat ruin the engine.
Mazda got sued for their false claims of power. I had a 2004 manual grand touring with low miles and it was drag limited to around 125-130 on the Cali I5 on a level stretch with little to no wind wind at 70F basically at sea level. So there is no way it made 232 at the flywheel. It didn’t feel much faster than my NA 1.8 Miata. Even though the coefficient of drag for a Miata is crap compared to the Rx8 I still managed 118-125. And yes the rag top was pulling so hard you could see light of day through the crack.😱
Hi, I saw in the comments you are thinking of trying a different dyno after doing some mods. Its actually a good idea to use the same one again and see the increase after modding. Yeah it could be reading wrong so you may have more HP than it says, so does it feel like its only 145hp at the wheels, how quick is the 0-100kmh? These things are more important than maxing the dyno numbers.
Man not so bad after 13 years :). I have a question because I just bought rx8 HP after rebuild engine (3000 KM ago) and I have 196 HP guys told me that it's not so bad. What do you think or did u make rebuild in your rx8?
A cold air intake will increase power. Not huge, but more than what you'd expect from a traditional piston engine. Add a free flowing exhaust and I promise you that you will indeed feel it in the seat of your pants. Rotaries really take to air in, air out more than regular engines. When I put the cold air intake, under drive pulley and exhaust on my FD I could feel the difference right away.
A free flow exhaust is already in my scedule, cause i feel how the car suffers and struggles at idle, since i've put a new cat on to pass emissions, so definitely getting rid of it for everyday use.
They were last replaced in 2011, and they are already scheduled to be replaced. Trying to upgrade to the BHR ones, so it'll take some time to gather the money :)
Spark plugs, ignition coils, ignition wires , needs to be changed . Clean The maf sensor , and take a look at the ssv (or the one that opens at the high end you are missing power ) they are prone to be covered in black goo that sticks it shut. Your compression should be ok . Maybe around 7 ; 6,5
That's what i thought... i ask the operator several times, cause it didn't make sense, but he said it was crank..so i'll try a different dyno next time.
I would say the Dyno guy is wrong and got confused, or he has worked out the drive loss which i think is something like 21% for the RX8 which would mean you are right on the money for a 231 6 port
Yeah, the RX8s are known to be a bit overrated on power. That's why they're typically slower than something like an FA5 Civic Si with the underrated K20Z3 making 180-190whp.
Mine goes past 9k and as far as I know it has not had a ecu tune; it's a 06 shinka with around 24k miles. That is a nice flat torque curve, I think people exaggerate the 'low torque' thing. I find it's a very good power curve to work as a daily driver and fun holding it in a lower gear in twists. I think of it like this, more drivability in poor conditions/lower traction situations. Also, I chose to drive a stick, why would I complain about needing a downshift to pass someone? It isn't like automatics I have driven don't downshift to pass even when they have an excess of low end torque. I think some of it comes down to either not understanding how to make the best of the engine, repeating hyperbole, or both. I don't see nearly the same bashing on something like a vtech engine that pretty much has a similar feel except from my experience in a 06 si was the power came one later for a shorter range but it felt like more of a kick because it was weaker up to that point, where the renesis is a linear delivery. I honestly would prefer a much better overdrive 6th and tighter, shorter 1-5 ratios so highway cruise even at 80 wouldn't make the intake open up and highway mpg could be much better. I need to invest in the BHR ignition soon, my mpg sits around 18 mixed and can eek 24 purely sedated highway cruising. A prior rx8 with a new engine was getting 28 highway and I've had a few na FCs that could break 30. I feel the best of both worlds could've been accomplished if they didn't let the people too lazy to downshift affect design choices ... sort of how the whiners destroyed cat design and now they 'act' like a normal tranny instead of staying at peak torque required by throttle input and sitting at a steady rpm. Keep putting up videos, you are good about not spreading rumors and bad advice, some people just parrot crap they've heard without understanding why the concept started and if it has a basis in reality. Having fun videos is good for the community:)
I agree with the torque, even if it doesn't have that much of it, it's very pleasurable to daily drive, especially in slow traffic. 30mpg, wow! That's a rotary owner's wet dream :D I'm also saving up for the BHR kit, i could install the NKG kit for twice less, but i figured that since i'm doing it right, i might as well go all the way with it. Thank you so much for the kind words :) I do my best to serve old and new rx8 owners so they have a pleasant experience and leave one for the next person that's going to get that car :)
BHR coils are the LS1 coils. Trust me, you will love your car after the upgrade to LS1 coils. It sounds more throaty and aggressive. The NGK are eehh. Same as stock coils. LS1 coils give you a better response to the car.
Real Truth found out that those are not the best coils for the 8. They do change the sound a bit but it is because they can't recharge fast enough for the higher RPM of the rotary so the ecu changes the timing of ignition... I can't remember the name of the coils I found but they do come in a kit for the rx8 and so its all just a matter of installing the parts and new brackets but they are designed for 20k RPM on 2 stroke bikes... These will keep up with the rex rpms and still handle more although the bhr coils hit harder but not fast enough so the bhr gives better power gains until about the 5-6k range due to hotter spark... These others give better results in the 7-8k+ranges
Yeah I agree with you on the recharge time on the coils. I got them in my car. There are MSD coils which offer multi spark. It solves the recharge problem. Right now I have the LS1 coils or the LS2 can't remember, but I'm saving up to get the MSD coils soon. All I will need after that is a racing beat tune. Oh and the SOHN adapter, Catch can, new cooling system, rims and tires, coil overs, rebuild, and other stuff I can't remember right now.
The thing about dynos is very few of them have fans that actually do something. If you had a obd2 you would have seen very high intake temperatures. Not saying that it would yield +50hp, just mentioning a "not real life" measurment. Never dyno my car, I just look at track lap times 😋
Growing up my dream was to buy an rx8 and last year I did and it was so much fun while it lasted. Eventually the motor went of course but I will own one again some day
With that number I think you have about 2 more years out of that engine. Speaking of RX8 engines, for the next swap why not get one from an S2? Should last a lot more
Pioska Considering it is the thrid swap, cost-wise might be better in the long run. Internal electronics are pretty much the same. Would need radiator, ECU, engine, flywheel and gearbox from an S2
UzY3L Ill see what to do.after.I take a compression test. If.its good, ill upgrade my ignition.system (coils, sparks, wires), and.after that it.should be good. If.not, ill have to think.very carefully about my next move 😊 but.I am tempted to swap with 20b or 13b rew. But that also depends if.ill.keep the rx8 on the street or only on the track 😊
I need to dyno my 2006 Rx8 which is currently at 64k original miles. Racing certain cars from a rolling 50mph and up has me convinced i have atleast 200hp to the wheels. I own a 2002 Acura rsx type S as well and the rx8 seems much faster, especially during high rpms.
Yeah, the folks over at rx8club say the same. My 8 unfortunately tested fairly low on compression recently, though the engine itself feels fairly strong. Hope yours tests well!
Well considering the manufacturer-recorded 232hp is crank horsepower, it makes sense that the dyno-recorded wheel horsepower is about 50-60 less due to drivetrain losses, no? I know he said "at the flywheel" in the video, but that dyno was measuring at the wheels.
Poor ignition system is known to kill your horses fast. Upgrade to aftermarket ones, like BHR together with sparkplugs to restore your original HP. If compression is ok ofcourse. But if you don't have any hot starting issues, it should be ok.
Domas64 I have fast hot and cold starts, but nonetheless, ill make a compression test to see the health of.the engine, and if its good, ill.upgrade my ignition (plugs, wires and coils). After.that it should be better 😊
Great channel man, you have the best RX-8 coverage on YT! Looking forward to the compression test! I've heard it's kind of a pain in the ass to get it done properly. Apparently Mazda has a special tool?
Kevin D Thanks man! It means a lot 😄 yes, there is a special compression tester for the rotary engine, but it can be also done with a normal piston engine compression tester, but the method of measuring is different. Ill cover both methods. The rotary tester is more expensive, so that one will have to wait a bit 😊
You sure its at the crank and not at the wheel, cause RX8s usually make around 180 hp at the wheel. But if it's not at the wheel, then you might need some new spark plugs, or worse...a rebuild.
Ohm Neh the dyno operator said it was at the crank, I even asked him several times, cause it sounded strange... but ill see the state of the engine once I do a compression test 😊
Honestly if they just made a conversion to the speed3/6 motor rwd in this car... it would be epic.. I’ve driven the stock rx8 it does rev good but I wish it had more balls
You don't need a rebuild. Almost every rx8 I ever seen dyno even new were around the 180-190 whp 232 was flywheel rating. And your torque is actually great considering it is only rated for 159 ft lbs or some pathetic number. We replace our torque with rpms it is more fun that way. Id say compression test it and I would guess you'll be good there and start getting power mods starting with intake and exhaust then move up to porting and tuning
That's what a part of me thinks too, because the car starts and runs very good, though it idles a but bad but other than that everything feels good. I'll see the exact situation after the compression test. Cheers!
your vid's are always delicous ones, i love them! #RotaryOwner4LifeYo In own an RX-8 myself and love it to watch another Carnethusiasts who enjoy their life with an RX-8 as much as i do
Thanks man!!! It' really means a lot! :D I'm happy that you are so passionate about your rx8 too, people like this bring positive energy in the community and are an inspiration for future owners, so keep it up!
@Drivenbymadness Nice vid. I was always curious about how much power, generally speaking, the Renesis lost after several years and several thousand miles (or kilometers). ...and yeah-- more torque would always be welcome but, I wouldn't get TOO hung up on it-- like homeboy said, "it's why you have all those rpm's for." Nice example of an RX-8, too: I don't see too many of them here in the States anymore. I think after the average owner got tired of the upkeep/additional maintenance requirements after 100K miles, 150K miles, they probably sold them/traded them in.....which is heartbreaking: Most of those examples of which I speak of would (most likely) benefit from relatively minor repairs/upkeep.....and a little $$.....That would get them back on the road again, were they belong.
That couldn't have been crank horsepower. Perhaps the computer took some random ass constant guestimate percentage and applied that, but that wasn't crank horsepower. The 8's are really cool cars. Even though they don't make any torque!
It didn't make much sense to me either, and i asked the dyno operator several times, but the answer was always crank... So after i finish some mods on my engine, i'll go to another dyno ( newer one) and see how the result varies. I agree :D
considering how fast rotary motors get blowby i could see an old one making this low of numbers, really only the first 50k or so miles should evwn be close to stock. the real question here is how many miles? 13 years doesnt mean shit man if it's driveb a thousand a year
I'ts a normal dyno result for a RX8 in middle of his life you should try to decalaminate and do the compression test, it works on my RX8 and i'v got 180.000km on the clock 😎
Mr TeaTime ive already set a date when ill do a compression test. If it gives good numbers, ill upgrade my ignition system(coils, sparks and wires). After that it should be good 😊
Shado Gaming it's not a bad idea. It doesn't cost that much. For 1 car is around 80€, but if you take 2 more cars with you, it gets considerably cheaper 😊
Driven by madness yes there is only one shop in my town and it's pretty expensive. They do offer a 20$ dyno day but that comes once a year. I want to see what my long tube header, cai, full exhaust runs on a dyno
Key Blade well, if its not urgent, wait for.that day, and untill then install all.those mods. Although 80€ or if you take 3 friends with you its 40€, so its no that much 😊 So
Driven by madness yes, I do have all the mods done I've seen on the forums that n/a mods don't get you much but would still want to see how much of a difference it is from stock

Ok you obviously have no idea what you’re talking about or doing and have no business ever giving advice about what to do to a car. You need to put a disclaimer before each video so that young impressionable people don’t take you seriously
Tim Johnson state what you think is wrong and ill answer. The "no idea what I'm talking about" is such a poor general comment that's not worth addressing.
Definitely the best RX-8 channel in my opinion! Always so fun to watch.
HealthyJoeful You're the man! 💓😊👌
i think too :)
A rebuild on this channel? I'm in. Port that shit while you're at it!
mrawesomelemons not just a rebuild a "how to rebuild your rotary engine" done in my usual DIY style 😉😊
Driven by madness So I can do it right the next time XD
havent you already have a rebuild?
Yep didn't go too well

Have you ever though about Bridgeporting or turboing the rx8 ? Nothing crazy just fun amount of power.
Turbocharging an Rx8 is so difficult man. Bet hes not gonna do it.

Alex Harrod makes sense now 😂
That's so cheap, dude. I'd go for it for sure
yeah but most of the ones are around 130k (yen) so I'm wondering if the cheaper ones have issues.

With which gear in the gearbox you do the dyno test?
Isn't 180-190 hp the ball park figure you want to be at ? I never thought those thing made near 200 hp to the wheel from factory.
Numbers vary widely with rotaries in general since they require lots of air to make power. using multiple fans doesn't provide enough moving air to cool the engine as well as provide ambient cool air. Is the factory cat converter still on this? They clog up and destroy engines. Also the front oil coolers behind wheels, don't drain with drink plug.
Yes, and i think that is one of my major issues. Since i've put a new car on, my idle started being unstable and the car is very shaky, as if it could't expell all the gasses fast enough... i'll put a de-cat in a few weeks on, and we'll the the difference.

Did you mean wheel horse power? You said at the crank, most 8s make around the same power figure you used except they make it to the wheels.
All Things RC the Dyno operator said at the crank, I even asked multiple times to be sure I got it right. So yea, 187hp crank 😐
Driven by madness ouch, that sucks man, sometimes dynos do read below what the car actually makes though
Cant measure at the crank from a rear wheel dyno. They can guesstimate from a formula at best. Maybe the guy didnt know what he was talking about?
I asked several times, and it was measured at the crank, or whatever measuring algorithm they used, had results at the crank, so yea... :)
Mazda got sued for their false claims of power. Hi is the rx-8 4wheels drive?
Hi, its rear wheel drive
@@Drivenbymadness okk thanks~
Is your rx8 all wheel drive?? How come all the wheels are being powered on the dyno..?
It's rear wheel drive. I don't know, i think that's just the way that dyno works... :/
hey man where are u from, i heard something like Ljubljana is that true?
Blago Entertaining I went to Ljubljana to have the dyno test, I live in Portoroz 😊
Driven by madness oh i see, im from Croatia which is very close :) you have very good content keep up👍👍
Blago Entertaining Thanks 😄 maybe well meet on a future rx8 meet 👌
Driven by madness hey maybe we will! 👌👌
Man not so bad after 13 years :). I have a question because I just bought rx8 HP after rebuild engine (3000 KM ago) and I have 196 HP guys told me that it's not so bad. What do you think or did u make rebuild in your rx8?
You mention its age, but what about any modifications? I'm guessing it is pretty much bone stock.
Zoom-Zoom /points left
tscooter22 its stock, the only mod.it has is a Cold air.intake, which is more of a sound mod than a performance mod.
How old are yor Ignition Coils and Sparkplugs .. ? More than 50.000km..? Then Replace them or Upgrade them to better Versions..!
Maybe around 7 ; 6,5
dirtydee thanks, ill do a preventive compression test, and if I get good numbers, I'll change the mentioned ignition system and.check my ssv 😊
a chassis dyno measure hp at the wheels. if u want hp at the crank, pull the engine from the car and put it on an engine dyno.
What gas are you using?
100 octane (European)
So your rotary engine has been running for 13 years ?:0
Those 13 years you mentioned... Are they on the same engine? Or has it been rebuilt? 😯
rebuilt at 62k km, which was 10 years ago. The car itself is 13yo.
Driven by madness daang nice. Well that 2nd engine sounds like its had a good life at least 😜
Your mazda had 170 Kw (228 Hp) "originally from factory"?
yes :)
Is your rx8 a series one?
Yes :)
Yeah, the RX8s are known to be a bit overrated on power. That's why they're typically slower than something like an FA5 Civic Si with the underrated K20Z3 making 180-190whp.
hey guy, we have the same car,the stock rpm limiter is at 9000 rpm, you have tuned ecu ?
disegnatorecad the car is super stock, only mod is CAI, ECU is stock, not tunes. Ill tune everything once I get a rebuild :)
Mine redlines at 9k and the 'limiter' is at 9500 which I believe is the stock values
how rx8 become awd?
it didn't. They just have that kind of rullers for front drive and rear drive
As usual great video best of luck with the compression test on your car. It seems like you don't really care for the mx5? just an observation. :P
Dude, i love the MX5, and especially that one! :D Thanks, fingers crossed it'll be a decent one :)
Dude, your funny. Love these
Hey when are you gonna install the LS1 coils?
Real Truth im.going.to put either NKG ones, or upgrade to.the BHR ones :)
BHR coils are the LS1 coils. Trust me, you will love your car after the upgrade to LS1 coils. It sounds more throaty and aggressive. The NGK are eehh. Same as stock coils. LS1 coils give you a better response to the car.
Ok, i'll save up some money then, wait a bit more and go for the BHR ones :)
When the rx8 kept on revving :)) , plus I thought the blue Miata was a dodge Viber haha
Ameer Ramchand hahah a baby dodge Viper 😋 the sound in reality was so intense, I thought the engine will explode 😄👌
Excellent choice for music!
Thanks bro :)
Love your videos
Thanks! :)
Eventually the motor went of course but I will own one again some day
The colour mismatch bothers me...
You are not alone. Can't wait to repaint the car
Hehe Also a trip hop fan I see? Good man.
Flyingdutchy33 It's starting :) btw, I havent had time to answer you COBB comment, ill get to it tomorrow 😊
Take it easy man. No rush, no worries.
You live in a nice area! I'm jealous :D Can't wait to see the rebuild
Mecha Fanboy Thanks! Its not that bad in the summer, but in winter it can get pretty boring and dull 😋
Svaka cast Slovenac!
Hvala ti puno!
Mazda also lied about how much HP the Renisis made too
Beecher Adams yup, looks like they need a spanking
With that number I think you have about 2 more years out of that engine. Speaking of RX8 engines, for the next swap why not get one from an S2? Should last a lot more
I don't think you can just put a newer engine in. You would have to replace a lot of the electronics too. So might not be worth the trouble/cost?
I believe the rx8s were pretty overrated in terms of horsepower from the factory
Richard Huynh ive heard that from the dyno guy too. He said no rx8 that came to the dyno ever had more.than 190,hp (the 232hp ones)
Yeah, the folks over at rx8club say the same. My 8 unfortunately tested fairly low on compression recently, though the engine itself feels fairly strong. Hope yours tests well!
Richard Huynh ooh, well lets hope it last long enough for you to prepare for a rebuild 😊 Thanks, fingers crossed 🙃
Well considering the manufacturer-recorded 232hp is crank horsepower, it makes sense that the dyno-recorded wheel horsepower is about 50-60 less due to drivetrain losses, no? I know he said "at the flywheel" in the video, but that dyno was measuring at the wheels.
Matthew Novak actually, I asked the operator several times if it was at the wheels, and he said it was on the crank
Nice, looking forward to it!
I miss my RX-8s. I do love my FR-S though.
How can i blame you, it's a great car :D
Cool video!)
Thats a healthy engine no stock rx8 that i know off has hit over 195whp 187whp is around the normal for healthy Rx8's congrats
Luca car mods cousin?
You sure its at the crank and not at the wheel, cause RX8s usually make around 180 hp at the wheel.
But if it's not at the wheel, then you might need some new spark plugs, or worse...a rebuild.
Ohm Neh the dyno operator said it was at the crank, I even asked him several times, cause it sounded strange... but ill see the state of the engine once I do a compression test 😊
If you compare the results to the MX5 dyno, it seems like crank HP, which is a rather normal way to display results in europe.
Honestly if they just made a conversion to the speed3/6 motor rwd in this car... it would be epic.. I’ve driven the stock rx8 it does rev good but I wish it had more balls
jeffcon123 it would if it was lighter honestly the renesis belongs in a Miata or gen 1 rx7
Cheers!
cool channel. 187bhp at the fly wheel is pretty healthy i reckon.
The blue and white Miata looks like a viper raped a pink Miata and the pink Miata decided to not get an abortion.
Damn, after watching this I'm even more sad I couldn't make it. We could have cried about all those dead rx8 horses together. :D
Next time bro :D We can go drifting together in Krško in the end of september if you're up for it?
"So I feel proud of myself wasting 50 euros" XD
exact same RX8 ---- but with a 1JZ GTE VVTi
Hi. Nice Video :) Can someone tell me if Sebastion can be found here on UA-cam? I dont know why but this Miata Looks incredible awesome :3
Theubershadow youll see a lot more of his miata on this channel 😉
Driven by madness nice to hear. But your rx8 is still better^^ cant wait to see you bodykit
Theubershadow Thanks! 😄
why there were no BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAP?
your vid's are always delicous ones, i love them!
Is nobody going to say anything about that sweet recaro baby seat!!!
@Drivenbymadness Nice vid. I was always curious about how much power, generally speaking, the Renesis lost after several years and several thousand miles (or kilometers).
...and yeah-- more torque would always be welcome but, I wouldn't get TOO hung up on it-- like homeboy said, "it's why you have all those rpm's for."
Nice example of an RX-8, too: I don't see too many of them here in the States anymore.
13 years doesnt mean shit man if it's driveb a thousand a year
My engine has been rebuilded at 62k kilometers, and now it has 120k. I know, The 13 years is just a more appealing title.
why slovenians dont do street races?because in 3rd gear they would be at the croatia border.
Slovenia?
Yes :)
Hell ya for rhapsody!!!
what are you doing with my car bro... I'd like her back thanks!!! :)
After that it should be good 😊
i really need to take my rx8 to a dyno
Shado Gaming it's not a bad idea. It doesn't cost that much. For 1 car is around 80€, but if you take 2 more cars with you, it gets considerably cheaper 😊
I really wish I could get my rx8 on a dyno....
Key Blade it's not that big of an expense, It's usually around 80€. Have you checked for places that do dyno testa in your country ?
Driven by madness yes there is only one shop in my town and it's pretty expensive. They do offer a 20$ dyno day but that comes once a year. I want to see what my long tube header, cai, full exhaust runs on a dyno
Key Blade well, if its not urgent, wait for.that day, and untill then install all.those mods. Although 80€ or if you take 3 friends with you its 40€, so its no that much 😊 So
Driven by madness yes, I do have all the mods done I've seen on the forums that n/a mods don't get you much but would still want to see how much of a difference it is from stock
Put it on your schedule and go for it man :)
glu glu to brap brap brap
seems about right ;)
I think 187 hp at the wheels sounds about right...
after a few mods, i'll take it to another Dyno , to see if i get the same numbers
but its not 187 at the wheels
Red suns is that initial d lol
Alex Forreal yeah
Alex Forreal you bet it is 🙃👌⛽
mm Aloe Vera water :) its the best!
You bet! :D
Stop doing that with your hand
I know i know i know, i hate it too. After this video i tried really hard to hold it down, but it was down ;)
nice finally a rx8 drift build subscribed I'm in process of making an s13 rocket bunny v2 drift car but after that I'm gone be making a MITSUBISHI MIRAGE DRIFT BUILD YUP YOU READING WELL A US MARKET FRONT WHEEL DRIVE MIRAGE FOR DRIFT SO GONE BE REAR WHEEL DRIVE SWAP 😎 check my channel when you can 😊 it's the car on my avatar I make videos in English and Spanish 🤓
Damn son, now that sounds awesome AF! I'll definitely check it out :)
187 on flywheel is very very good for the 231 RX8
They have almost max 220 PS
187 on flywheel are 210-220 engine PS
Lol flywheel and 'engine Ps' as u say are the same Thing, i believe he is referring to 187 WHEEL HP
Please don't do anymore that thing whit your arm...
Popcorn Time I'm trying really hard not to do it, don't think It doesn't bother me too 😐
Btw. U are doing well!
Thank you so much! 😃😃
First ? 😱
I did catch the earlier uploaded 13min version with black nothing :D
hahaahah yup :D
OMGGGGGG 😀😀😀😀😀😀😆😆😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
lol You guys really bum gay cars
Hurtyu Hutyr jelous?
