WT videos are awesome videos. Kobe videos are awesome videos. We have a double awesome video here! My fav Kobe 6 colorway (I only have one OG and none 6 Protro) are, in no particular order:
-Del Sol
-Grinch (Big L on the protro)
-All Star (another L)
And honorable mention to the Pop colorway, the only one I have.

Damn I wish I would have been into the Kobe’s when I was younger. I thought you couldn’t play basketball in low tops, now I feel like his shoes are some of the most natural to play in.
Kobe's shoe line is one of the best ever conceived. Almost every edition is grail-worthy.

Chris, your obvious love for the 90s is what makes you and your channel my top destination for shoe reviews, particularly those of retroes. Really appreciate all the backstories you tell. I’ve been a sneaker lover since the late 80s, though I never got to buy them til I was already a professional. I remembered the AJ6 being the “official” shoe of the boys in my class but I was wearing a local branded shoe copied from the AJ4 since I can’t afford the real thing. I think It’s always good to look back, it makes me even more thankful for who I am now and more appreciative of what I have now :)
And hey, 80s-90s cartoons and shows are the best! I’d add to those you mentioned Centurions and Visonaries... and Captain Power!
I've always wanted to ball in a pair of 6's, and at this point i dont think i ever will... their too expensive....
if u really want them u can save for awhile. or u can just enjoy them from afar. both good options!
Jordan’s 1-6 are bricks on court.
1. Your best bet at grabbing a quality pair for a reasonable price is shopping GOATs used section.
2. calling/finding boutiques that get retros.
3. paying slightly higher than retail but not as high as resell on GOAT during the 1st week the shoe drops or a week before.
4. You could find a good U/A site to pay under retail. No judgement.
5. Find any dead malls, outlets, or locations the get the shoe.

I love your channel. I mostly buy shoes that give me that nostalgia. My mom raised three kids on her own and didn’t have the money to get us the expensive shoes when we were small. So now I go and get all the shoes I loved as a kid. You guys are awesome! Keep doing what you do!

Best sneaker UA-cam channel by far! I’ve always liked shoes based on performance, looks, and/or nostalgia and y’all stay true to this. I’m probably just as old as nightwing and I get the same excitement when a shoe can brings me back to a point in time. It’s discouraging so many ppl just care about hype since society has become increasingly superficial. Just waiting for them to move on...

Love this grail pickups, Kobe 6 really started it for me back in 2011. I was in high school when I had my Kobe 6, I really enjoyed my pair and wore it through almost everything, for casual and sports. This is my grail sneaker, regardless of the colorway.

i wasnt into sneakers heavy when the 6s game out i remember having a pair of 5s that i believe i threw out bc that outsole was smooth like a baby's bottom. But i can say think pink and grinches are up there for favorite colorways. I really want the 8s to come back out again bc i also wore the coral snakes to the ground. That would be my #1 favorite kobe 8 colorway.

Ask the footlocker guy and said sz 11 was last size and display. So I asked to try it on ab bought them. This was after the release. I still have them and wear them
Nightwing, I’d love to get your thoughts on the Nike Zoom Hyperace 2s. I saw a pair online and confused them for some undiscovered pair of Kobe’s. They even have the snake print. If you could get your feet on a pair and give us a rundown that would be pretty cool.

My favorite basketball shoe. Ive had 6 pairs since my first in 2011. I bought 3 in 2018 to wear for my college basketball season, but the soles have separated on them and unfortunately they are not wearable on court. I am really looking forward to the Orange County pair rereleasing. That is one pair I might have to pay resale for lol.

You're crazy man Bruce Lee 5s, Christmas 8s, and now Chaos 6s??? I haven't seen those in a decade! And the Batmans...I had the chance to buy one pair between those and the China/USC 5s and went with the latter - no regrets there, could afford what I could afford

The black/maize is the best colourway. The “supreme” was for the iridescent effect on the scales. Same for the Rice colourway. And I agree “zoom strobel everything” 😎

Hey Chris, I noticed that the Protro 5 seemed to have done away with the different density foams on the midsole (at least I think I remember the originals have two densities). Is the 6 the same way?? Love the content!
OGs used Phylon. Not dual density.
