I was lucky to see them on May 17-18 performing in Lausanne along with Adorable, The Boo Radleys, The Telescopes, The Faith Healers, Prodigy, Blur, etc
Did they ever tour the U.S.? I found an EP by them in a thrift store a few years ago, but prior to that I hadn't heard of them before. It's a good EP with the song "Jack" as the lead in track.
Saw them at my second ever gig with The Cranberries as support. What a brilliant band. I have their 3 first EP's. Know why they suddenly changed style? Major label pressure? Anyone remember the show 'Vidz'? The theme tune was credited to KJ McKillop and M. Berenyi.
I've seen them on May 19th 1993 in Lausanne along with The Boo Radleys, Adorable, Th' Faith Healers, The Telescopes, Blur and some other bands. Never forget.
I was there too, buddy. Both days, on May 18th and May 19th. The best concert I've ever seen out of the dozens. Do you remember that moment when a drunk Damon Albarn was climbing that giant speaker while singing. I thought he will fall for sure. The Boo Radleys almost skipped their performance playing only about 17 minutes
Moose..what an under rated band😢

Do you think adorable had elements of shoe gaze? Definitely a bit gothic.
Laeticia Sadier on 3. Je rêve
I listen to this a lot. Thanks to whoever uploaded it. What a great band they were. I saw them live around this time, 1991.

@@powpow99 I don't know if they ever toured the U.S. Probably yes, I would guess. I am glad you discovered them.

I know K.J McKillop and Miki B. are now involved with Piroshka but what's Russell Yates doing now?
Love it - but where is 'Orange Peel'??
they're a pretty drab band sometimes but this is great
Interesting sound but a terrible name.
that's McKillop's nickname
