Brought up on this in New Zealand. Try not to uproot. Pintching the plant halfway helps. You get the plant, root stays to grow back another plant. Cool vid man. 😎
Can I eat watercress from any stream, river or creek or if I suspect the water is polluted would that render the watercress toxic? THanks for the video!
@@therichestfare4394 Thanks man! I looked around in the hills in a clean conservation area near my home but did not find any watercress so far in the creeks and streams. Maybe I am too early or am not looking in the right places.
@@therichestfare4394 Do you mean spring water as in ground water that has sprouted up above ground, and the kind you can literally cup in your hand and drink it from this source?
Arugula is great! I have grown it in our garden and we purchase organic arugula frequently to use in salads. It also has a bit of spiciness to it. But I have never found it in the wild. I don't know where it grows naturally.
I’m in New York area anyone know where out wide wild water creek we can find watercress ? Would love to go foraging ! Thru this Covid19 time I commit to stay away from dairy products and watercress is great with vitaminC and calcium rich
Beautiful video! Thank you for sharing it. Can I ask what state it was shot in? I would love to find it wild, rather than getting it from my grocery store.
Hmmm... Well like I say in the disclaimer I'm not an expert. I just have to go by what I read. Almost every online nutrition guide I look up on watercress lists vitamin K as one of its most prominent benefits. But that's why I say do your own research. Don't take my word for it.
awesome. I will be adding watercress into my koi pond this spring

Man that's a tricky one. I'd find someone who is more knowledgeable than me. Personally I would probably avoid it to be safe.
