- Me mounting and balancing my new BFG tires before I mount them on the truck. Had a rubbing issue on the passenger side. A little trim on the fenders and bumper plastic and they fit fine.

mossman381 couldent agree more I have the ko2s on my 2003 s10 zr2 and I love them but I want to get some rims like you have to really make it pop maby different offset too

This was the only mini truck I have had. I do like the looks of the Colorado.

Nice job! Get used to the truck being dirty. Learned that having big tires that is my truck was dirty all the time. Sure looks nice though. Enjoy!
Having to wash it more is probably a good thing. If I really get sick of it I can get some flares.

Hey moss what do you use for undercoating ? My buddy hasa body shop and he is doing my 02 dmax in 2 weeks. Just waiting for 1a auto to get the parts in stock (rocker panels and cab corners). I want to do the undercarriage of the truck after. As you know plowing it gets worn under there. What would be your suggested process and what products would you use ? Going to hopefully do it when I get my truck back from my buddy. The bottom of the rockers and cab corners are bad after the past two big winters we have had. Doing the back ext cab doors too. Took a. Year to find two good used doors. Nice s10 boss. 4.3 in that beast ? Drop a small block chevy in it
For the inner fenders and frame I just use Rustoleum Industrial paint. The same stuff I used on my gooseneck. I wire wheel and scrape it down the best I can. Unless you completely strip your frame and sand blast it not a whole lot you can do. I don't like to use the rubber undercoating because I don't like the idea of trapping rust under it. Unless like I said you could strip and sandblast the whole thing. I usually wire wheel and spray it again every year. I have heard of people using por15 and other paint over rust products but have never used them myself.
Yeah the s10 has the V6. If I keep it long enough it might get a V8 :)
Amazing how just a few minor bolt ons can change the entire look of a truck.. Looks mean like the dually..
I know it looks easy in the videos but I have a lot hours working on this truck. The lights are an easy install but the grill, buffing and tires take quite a bit of time. It does look a lot better :)
I have an 04 blazer zr2, just put a set of 31×10.5 15 tires on it, blazer is not lifted, fit perfect, no rubbing like I've seen in some videos.. Love them..
The ZR2 trucks had a 2" body lift from factory I believe. This was just a 4x4.
zr2 also come with 31s factory
Yes, a few videos I seen here said that 31's would rub and that you needed to trim or lift to fit a zr2...
265×75r15's are 31's

mossman381 Zr2’s don’t come with body lift. It’s a 2” or 3” suspension lift.
Just got done at the tire shop the 31/10.50s fit great don't rub one bit!!!!!
That is hard to believe. These tires barely fit and I think there was a bolt on the inner fender that the tire hit sometimes so I don't know how they would fit on a stock height truck. This truck had a 2" body lift and I don't know if the torsion bars were touched or not. These are aftermarket rims. If you put 31" on factory rims that might make a difference but still I would have to see it to believe it.

They are Goodyear wrangler m/t 31/10.50/r15LT they fit great man without any kind of lift and without touching the torsion bars send me a pm on Facebook and I'll show you a picture

Hey if you could do a review on the tires that would be great trying to decide between bfg mud terrains or cooper stt's
I am a BFG guy. The tires make some noise but they are a mud tire. They feel pretty sticky but again they are a mud tire. I have heard a lot of people liking the KM2 tires. I am sure they will do me just fine.
What zise tires and were can i find d rims
You should throw some ZR2 side mirrors on it they're a little bigger than those
The ZR2fender flares might fit also

Looks good! You are definitely going to have to Line-X the rocker panels. Looked into it on my Ranger, its about $1000 for the Rockers, flares, and and bumper. Bed wasn't included in that quote either :/... I have those same Cooper Discovery's on my stock Ford rims, I want BFG's for the winter. The BFG's weren't too bad on price were they? (If you don't mind me asking)
I am going to bed line my rockers myself. I will do a video when I get to it. The BFG's are not cheap. About $205 a tire. The AT tires are cheaper but I wanted the aggressive look.

I don't know. The 31" tires are a pretty tight fit.

Yes, the torque rating is not for the wheels it is for the studs.

They are 31/10.5/15 and yes the rims are 15x7.
do you know what is the backspacing on those rims

Do you know how much actual ground clearance you gained with the 31's? How much higher up does the rear differential sit than stock?
Look up the height of the tires you have now. Look up the tire size you want to go to. Take the difference between the two and divide by 2. That will give you how much height you will gain.

I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 2.2L inline 4. Could 30" A/T's fit on it with out a lift?
These are close with a 2" body lift. If your truck is a 2wd then probably not.
No 30s will not fit without a lift I put 235/75/15 cooper discover AT3s on my 2003 s10 2.2L with no lift and it was scrubbing

Not sure how you are going to fit 10" wide rims. I would say a big lift kit would be needed.

Never tried any Mickey Thompson tires. I have had several sets of BFG. All Terrain and the KM2. Love both of them.
What was the bs of those rims I want mine to stick out like yours maybe even a lil bit more maybe a inch or so

The truck has p235 70 15 from previous owner I'll check tommrow for clearence ik ground to top of fender is 37 inches not sure much else

I have a 2001 s10 4x4 it has 29.95s on it right now could I fit 31s?
I don't think so unless you have a ZR2. Going to need some sort of lift.

Any lift on that truck? putting them on my truck stock...fingers crossed
KS S. It has a body lift and I believe it is 2". You won't fit 31" tires under a stock truck. Not without cutting the fenders. Even with the body lift I have a tiny rub on the passenger side when I turn right and hit a bump. I also trimmed a small amount of the fender because it was so close.

I am guessing they are 10" wide. I have a set of 30x9.5x15 and they measure about 9" wide. The 31x10.5x15 I would guess will be 10" wide. I don't have the truck anymore so I can't measure. My cousin bought the truck and he uses it a lot.
Nice truck so all u did to fit the 31s was a 2 inch body lift ? No suspension lift i have a 2wd 94 s10 i want to fit 31s but was told i needed to do a 2 inch body lift with a 2 inch suspension lift
Honorato zapata Mine is a 4x4. I believe all it has is a 2" body lift. I think the 2wd is a lot lower than the 4wd trucks so I would guess you need a 2" body lift and some type of suspension lift on a 2wd.

Hey mossman. My question is I own a 93 blazer full size at stock height can I put bfg 285/75/16 tires on a 16x8 rim with no lift?
I don't think so. This truck has a body lift. I think 2" and these tires are very close to hitting.
just got my 31x10.5s mounted on my 01 s10 non zr2 and it only rubbs the frame at full lock. havent touched my T-bars. i am very suprissed it doesn't rub the inner fender. now i want to see how much offset i can get away without lifting it Lol. -18 or -43 are my choices Lol
I am guessing factory rims are being used right now. I would say you are going to rub pretty bad with those offsets.

This truck had I think a 2" body lift and I believe 0 offset 15x7 rims and if I remember right I was hitting a bolt on the back of the inner fender. Not sure if the torsion bars were touched on it or not. These tires were the perfect size for this truck. Without any lift I don't see those offsets working out. I do miss this truck. Would have been a perfect truck for a V8 swap. Body was very good.
yeah i will probably end up lifting it 2.5inches with the rough country lift.. but i might try cranking the stock torsion bars and shackles on the back.. but that wont be for another month or two...
Trimming some is ok to get tires to fit. The fun goes away when you have to hack a bunch of metal out to fit tires.

You believe those tires would fit on my s10 have a 2.5 inch suspension lift 4x4
***** With the 2" body lift and maybe even some torsion bar crank these tires still hit my fender when turning and hitting a bump. Not sure if the torsion bars are turned any or not by the previous owner. I really wouldn't want to tell you they will fit and then they don't. What size tires do you have now? And how much clearance do they have?

About mudflaps, if you see any factory dually rear mudflap I could use some (before I get fined. All duallies are required to have rear mudflaps here)

It had a body lift when I bought it. Maybe 2" but not for sure.

It is not a safe solution to grind down your brake caliper, why didn't you get some 5mm spacers.

They are more aggressive than what I need but you only live once and I want the aggressive look. I have heard of people getting 40k out of these if you rotate regular.
