Dimash was not the first non Chinese on Singers shows. There were South Koreans, Malay from Malaysia invited too before Dimash. Sheila Amzah is a Malay from Malaysia (I Am A Singer 2014). She is very popular with South Korean UA-camrs (she sang some Korean songs that even impresses Korean themselves) and Mainland Chinese (she sang Chinese songs which makes many Chinese loves her).....goes without saying she's popular in Malaysia too.
