Honestly, I think if he improves his short game only 80% of an avg. pga tour player, he will be absolutely killing it on tour. really enjoy your shot tracker and your 18 hole videos. i am 80+ but actualy shot a 75 at royal dublin "in the day"--with my persimons and drives up to 250...which was pretty good then, and celebrated with too much good irish ale & scones. happy days for grampa tom. indeed!
Fantastic driiving and really good scoring on a tough beautiful course. I notice on some of your knockdowns that you were having a bit of trouble getting the clubface closed with less wrist cock. It seems you need either a little more of that or to release onto your trail toe a little earlier and close the clubface with your body rotation. Looking pretty good for low practice levels, though. If you hit two garbage shots and only need one good shot to make up for it,then your garbage shots are nowhere near garbage enough, and you need to practice those more.
Kyle is incredibly straight for his long game(Driver & long irons) -- he'd be hitting long drives at 80% would be straighter and fly by the avg PGA tour player by like 60 yards. He'd probably be the best on the PGA tour(long game wise). But the problem is(as of now), his short game would probably be the worst. Night & Day. Short game is all feel. If he spends a lot of time & practice with maybe some pro coaching for his short game in the next 1 or 2 years, I don't see why he can't do it.

Watching a fair few of your videos it seems there’s a misreading of greens issue with your putting, not stroke related. You’re a mile better than me, but if you could get more putts started on line and scaring the hole you could do anything with golf. It’s not so much your stroke, because you aren’t even lined up high enough in almost all these putts.

The holy shit factor is long gone, we’ve been watching these clips for years and now it’s just a guy trying to shoot a good score. The number of views has been steadily declining, so the UA-cam money has got to be evaporating. Long drive is not conducive to pro golf, as injuries are common, as evidenced by not just Kyle’s injuries but by Bryson as well. He basically fucked up his whole game by the distance obsession. When a channel has 200,000 subscribers but only 20,000 views on a video that’s been out almost a month it’s time to read the writing on the wall.

Reading this I feel two things. 1. There may be some weight to these points. 2. Bugger off Jeff. Kyle is a positive guy with a great attitude who is concentrating on long drive. He has many years ahead for UA-cam golf but a limited number as a pro long drive athlete.
