Ahoy my friends! So today I'll be diving into the EX3 Gallonbaloir Humus fight which is definitely a jump up in power from the EX2! Luckily, the fight is MORE OR LESS the same exact fight, with the Humus beast just getting a lot tankier and more powerful! Wind Imperils are the name of the game here, THAT, AND having Matt with Centipede I would say!! Let's get into the guide and get you guys through it!! Cheers! Got an easy clear with: - Yuffi (Diner Tray OP7 & Magic Shuriken OP8 - 5.3 PATK / HP 6.3K / Limit Break: Clear Tranquil) - Tifa (Motor Drive OP7 & Bahamut Knuckles OP10 - just for the Diamond Sigil break) - Aerith (Fairy Tale OP9 & Floral Wand OP8 - 2.1K Heal and Limit Break: healing wind - just so you can stay longer in attack stance) Not being in defense stance after the enemy recovers from breaks is deadly. But no extra PDEF or high HP needed for this fight (my Yuffi survived with 102 PDEF and 6.3K HP) The Crash battle though... oh my... I'm not sure if the meteorites can be avoided or if I have to tank everything, but my EX3 team got completely deleted. XD

I used Aerith with base unlocked floral staff and Yuffie and Tifa Wind DPS (again low OB weapons, but with Yuffie using Feisty spirit to buff herself and Tifa). Give Tifa the Bahamut Glove and Aerith Mythril Rod as second weapons and you are golden. (also use Aerith's new limit break to get rid of the PDEF debuffs)
It is a REALLY hard fight haha. Im leveling up my team to 80 to see if that helps as i think this is one of those times when it really will, so i will give it my best effort! And thanks for the support my friend!
Ex3 I used healer Matt with ob8 Centipede and ob4 Bramble. Had wind Sephy with OB10 Dark Heavens as DPS and used Aerith as magic DPS but more importantly her floral wand at base 5☆ for wind imperil. Had no troubles with this set up. Crash will be very tough though
I beat EX2 easily enough, but I just don't think my weapons are strong enough for EX3. Even with PDEF and buff I'm wiping early on. Oh well, at least I got another Icon. My Highwind collection is lacking in Icons unlocked cuz I never do crashes and don't always do the EX2s.
Ohh for the sword? Oh no thats not it. Those buffs don’t actually come into effect until the sword is used. Just the difference between an event weapon and banner weapon i think 🙏🏽

I used matt the same way, but used aerith for wind debuff, and Tifa as main dps

If you keep consistently playing the EX’s should become more and more doable over time and then Crashes later on I hope
The reason why your power went up is because it's accounting for the the 2 buffs you get atleast that is what i think not 100% sure.
