Love your take on the Sauvage line. I personally prefer the EDP version because it is just a little bit quieter than the EDT but for me lasts 10 to 12 hours or more every time I wear it.

REFORMULATED! Finally purchased EDT yesterday and smelled less peppery than last years sample. Called Dior’s customer service and they honestly told me it’s been reformulated in early 2019. Be cautious
shauwN actually when I called them they told me it was reformulated in 2019. But no big deal, I was able to find a 2017 batch on eBay. All good. Though I am extremely against people reformulating their perfumes. It really really bothers me, and I know sometimes they have legitimate reasons, but still it isn’t cool
@@techfragrancemarvelfan3104 Sauvage is a superstar fragrance and it also happens to be my favourite fragrance. Deep inside, despite the hate it seems to get, people just do it because it's too popular these days and they wish they could wear it and still feel "premium" and smell unique if you get what i mean. Dior disappointed me, why reformulate a fragrance that makes them so much money? I hate greedy companies, in the end it's all about profit but they had no reason to do it. I really want to find a good oldschool bottle but i don't really trust eBay and online sellers so yea.. guess i'll just have to find somethig else instead!
I purchased the parfum because of the more balanced and refined character however I found it has a balsamic sweetness that can get cloying in heat so its less versatile. The performance for me is a little better than you mention here a good 6 hours of slilage at moderate projection and compliments. The upside is its less "common" so a good going out at night scent for me. The opening of EDT I find a bit offensive from all the pepper and the edp was great but the notes of strong lavender in the heart reminds me too much of cheap soap. I actually used a fake of sauvage that was less peppery for years which I still love. I am going to try the EDT again and let it develop more. If only the parfum has some ambroxin like the other two it would be perfect. Im also considering purchasing molecule 02 to layer with the parfum for more projection and longevity.
I also own the parfum and agree it can get cloying in the heat or when I’m sweating. I live in Florida. Did you try layering with molecule 2? I’m curious.
What exactly do you mean by cloying? Do you not use the parfum in the hot months? I really like the scent, but it seems like most people comment that it’s a fall/winter scent
Idk Monica I have a 2023 parfum bottle and it's strong. Definitely stronger than the other two and still vintage considering the other two have been reformulated. Great video
You need to buy a full bottle of the EDP...do a full spray of EDP on one arm and a full spray of EDT on the other then most of the people won't be saying the EDT is best...you can't compare a full spray of EDT to a spray from a sample...you have to spray the sample at least 4 or 5 times to get close to a full spray from a actual bottle of the EDT...the EDP last much longer..i own both and my EDT is a early 2017 sobits not a batch thing.

Hi Monika, love it as always... If not on your "to do" list yet, can you please do a video on your favorite Creed fragrances? Although a good scent, I am of the opinion that Sauvage (and Chanel Bleu) are too ubiquitous for my taste. I tend to prefer lesser known fragrances (that is to the general public, rather than the fragrance community). Accordingly, for me, niche brands are the way to go. However, I admit you do have to give credit to designers like, Chanel, Dior, YSL and some others...Tom Ford, although a designer, I consider his fragrance line niche.

Monika Cioch you need to review a fragrance that does not get talked about in the fragrance community. It is called Domain Cologne Spray by Mary Kay, and it is Mary Kay's best selling men's fragrance of all time. Checkout the reviews. It is a good cheap fragrance for only $38.00. There is only one review on UA-cam about it, but it is not in English.
Nice review, Miss Monica! I have both EDP & EDT and I like them both, but I prefer the EDP. The EDT’s metallic note just hangs out a little too long for me, it’s like being on a roller coaster and stuck at the top lol. The EDP definitely has more depth, is smoother, and I rather enjoy the sweet freshness of it. Both have insane longevity on my skin. 12+ hours I’m still catching constant whiffs! Crazy. Btw, gotta say I’m really enjoying my Allure Homme Sport... Extreme! 🤙 Good shit
Thanks for kind words! I am glad you’re enjoying Allure Homme Sport! I totally agree there is a bit of a strong metallic like note at the beginning in the EDT. Most people don’t pick up on it though 😎
I’d have to disagree the parfum lasts way longer and projects like mad and still projects after a shower the day after! Edt smells too alcoholy and disappears after a few hours for me. The rest are quite literally just diluted versions. I guess people don’t know how to apply and wear a parfum or base oil. Parfums and oils on pulse points and warm points like the head will project way more than splashes, edt and epd. And other than punch concentration they all smell the same don’t kid yourself and think different concentrations of the same base oil smell differently its placebo nonsense. The parfum can perform like edt and edp depending on application less is more with parfum if worn correctly and you can also self dilute whereas less is just less with dilutes and the only way to make it perform better is to use more.
EDT - I DO NOT own this, but I have watched numerous reviews that state this projects the most, but can at times be cloying and slightly lively. EDP - I DO own this and I really enjoy it, my assumption is that this is a more refined version of EDT with the harsher elements removed. It is really smooth but has a solid longevity. Parfum - I DID own this, but I sold it because I simply did not like it... I have no idea why, it just felt so dense and thick that I just couldn't enjoy it at all. Almost like a creamy feel to it. Because I haven't owned the EDT I cant really compare too much, a few of my mates have it, but if I was asked to buy 1 of the 3 now I would definitely do the EDP again.
The EDT is too plain for me, while the star anise makes the EDP more interesting to me (Sure is short lived but still...). I won't be buying Sauvage again when i finished my current bottle, I have better options and here everyone uses it. I think that Bleu de Chanel is a better overall fragrance, even if I don't like the opening as much. Let me say by the way, that I really love Percival, and I find it interesting, invigorating and confident. For me it's the perfect in-between old school aromatic and modern blue fragrances, and it has the greatest versatility!! I'll make it my signature scent!
Perfectly done! I personally believe that Bleu de Chanel & Sauvage Dior are the best ever👍! I wore more than 10 fragrances, but still the former ones the best. Keep up the good work!
Hello beautiful girl!!! Love the way you speak.😍❤ For me it's Sauvage EDT all the way. The most balanced, most versatile and all year round fragrance with the best performance. Love you Monika!!!
I've noticed that too, they defo changed the formulation and it EDT doesn't last as long! I bought the new EDP and noticed it just last nearly as long as the old EDT
Hey Monica, I really love your reviews as it comes from a woman prospective. Which is important for us (guys). Forget about all the Diors, all the channels, all the YSLs. You should go and try #5 by Rosendo Mateu. You will be impressed as i am every time I sniff it.
Monika Cioch well its a niche fragrance and it retails for around EUR 175. I live in Dubai and its always available in the high end department stores. If you live in the UK you might find it in Selfridges.
Some people have said that the EDP lasts a little longer than the EDT. But I have heard some others (including you) that the EDT last longer than the EDP?? Im getting so confused on what is right and what is not
There is a great noise about bleu de chanel and in my opinion it performs lesser than dior edp.what is it with this bleu de chanel?bcos this is like tempting me to buy it for just🤫
To conclude, EDT works best for crowd attention, projection BUT if you know she hasn't had her dinner and is going to come over to your place, kiss your neck, off to bed .... pick Parfum
It’s Weird I got the edp and 5 minutes later I couldn’t smell it idk if it’s cause I’m use too the scent and I just don’t smell it anymore but yeah that’s weird the perfume doesn’t last the longest
I don't know if it is reformulation thing or what but edp is twice or even more longer lasting than edt on my skin - also a projection is atomic compared to anything and i have many niche projection beast. Edt is like 4h on my skin max with good projection for 2-3 h max while edp is like atomic projection for 6 hours and last up to 12h and more on my skin (2020batch). I have also new edt 2021 batch - and it really doesn't perform very well - also the dry down is very similar for my new batch edt and 2020 edp

Thanks for kind words! I am glad you’re enjoying Allure Homme Sport! I totally agree there is a bit of a strong metallic like note at the beginning in the EDT. Most people don’t pick up on it though 😎
2 years later, do you still recommend the edt? how projection is higher than ysl y edp?
Bro u sure h talking about dior savauge
EDT it is then thank you i could not decide but wanted a womans option before i bought!
Awesome video ❤❤❤
Thank you for posting this!:)
Marvellous Monika 👍🏼❤️👍🏼
Hello monika
Please do one full video on eros versace.thank you
V composed review and v understandable...in a v sweet way..🌹
The review and reviewer: Love it...Love it...Love it!
I disagree with most. The EDT has poor performance. But the EDP and Parfum are excellent in the longevity and scent department.
i think u meant that new batch 2019 for edt ? cause reformulated confirmed
I agree. The EDP is great, and Parfun. EDT always suck for me
EDT - I DO NOT own this, but I have watched numerous reviews that state this projects the most, but can at times be cloying and slightly lively.
I would say it is a bit more interesting as a scent compared to Edt :)
Monika Cioch thank you for the knowledge, loving the vids!
I like Percival too and it is for sure more interesting than bleu or sauvage ✨
@@MonikaColognes smells like Mont Blanc and its cheaper
Perfectly done! I personally believe that Bleu de Chanel & Sauvage Dior are the best ever👍! I wore more than 10 fragrances, but still the former ones the best. Keep up the good work!
Hi Monika!Who is winner?
I have EDT and parfum. But I reach for parfum more. For Me parfum all the way 😘😘
much better and deeper scent. EDT might just have better projection but its too big projection imo
Bonjour Monika. J'ai bien aimé votre présentation tout en douceur des parfums SAUVAGE 👌 Personnellement j'ai l'eau de toilette et je l'aime bien 👍

Great video... great information...great girl ...thank you monika
Thank YOU for the support!
Unobtrusive yet emotional review ! Well done !
conundrum of what to get, the EDT or the EDP, but taking it from a woman's opinion I'd go with the EDT
Hello beautiful girl!!! Love the way you speak.😍❤ For me it's Sauvage EDT all the way. The most balanced, most versatile and all year round fragrance with the best performance. Love you Monika!!!
I see that we agree :)
@@MonikaColognes We sure do madame. 😎
@@patrioticsoul3 Stop it. I doubt that was your choice. I know what you are trying to do but tough luck.
great video. As usual you're very beautifu, thanks pretty girl❤️
Thanks!
Recent formulation that lasted the most is the edp
I've noticed that too, they defo changed the formulation and it EDT doesn't last as long! I bought the new EDP and noticed it just last nearly as long as the old EDT
Hey Monica,
I really love your reviews as it comes from a woman prospective. Which is important for us (guys).
Forget about all the Diors, all the channels, all the YSLs. You should go and try #5 by Rosendo Mateu. You will be impressed as i am every time I sniff it.
I need to put it on my list. Where is it available?
Monika Cioch well its a niche fragrance and it retails for around EUR 175. I live in Dubai and its always available in the high end department stores. If you live in the UK you might find it in Selfridges.
I bought the Dunhill Icon Elite this week because of you! excellent fragrance, very seductive.
Glad you like it!
@@MonikaColognes Do you have videos about comparing Aventus clones?
Some people have said that the EDP lasts a little longer than the EDT. But I have heard some others (including you) that the EDT last longer than the EDP?? Im getting so confused on what is right and what is not
@Dirk Diddler great example haha, love cars
I have the edt, eau de parfum, recently got parfum but havent try it out.
What’s the best for you? Edp or edt?
@@DenkyMusic EDT for sure get the 200 ml.
I own the entire and edp very nice
There is a great noise about bleu de chanel and in my opinion it performs lesser than dior edp.what is it with this bleu de chanel?bcos this is like tempting me to buy it for just🤫
if already own prada luna rossa & mont blanc explorer should i buy Dior Sauvage EDP i want something sweet?
To conclude, EDT works best for crowd attention, projection BUT if you know she hasn't had her dinner and is going to come over to your place, kiss your neck, off to bed .... pick Parfum
Exactly she can have something to smell while the drilling is happening. 🤯
Just snatched a 200ml bottle for 77€, aka. 69£ - quite happy! :)
@miXn was it the EDT? Notino UK? How is the performance on the 200ml edition kindly. Thanks mate
Can I ask you about your batch? I mean for the edt version. Thank you so much
Bought the 2021 batch (with the refillable bottle) EDT today. Really good longevity, can still smell it after 10 hours.
EDT because: It‘s the cheapest and most versatile one.
Parfum the best
It’s Weird I got the edp and 5 minutes later I couldn’t smell it idk if it’s cause I’m use too the scent and I just don’t smell it anymore but yeah that’s weird the perfume doesn’t last the longest
Great video Monika! Keep up the good work. EDT wins. This will be a blind buy for me.
