Well there were leaks that showed a still of the new girl getting on a bus thats being driven by what looks to be an adult Timmy turner, but it’s unconfirmed if it’s actually him, or if it’s a simple Easter egg cause it’s the adult him from when he wished he was an adult. I wasn't rac##st I loved movies with black people (men in black and fresh prince of bel-air). Also I believe that it's rac##st cause black people are not even the 20% of the whole world yet the asian are like the 60% of the whole world and we see almost none of them in animated shows as protagonists (any show that is made in asia doesn't count, it's the same as when we make movies with white people). I prefer rewatching the old shows than watching those new "things"

You just notice that there's more black protagonists, but there's still a majority of white protagonist. Also a lot of western media also has asian protagonists and it was never controversial. Its important for people to see themselves in these roles, you're free to watch something else if you don't like it, but the color of the protagonist shouldn't be a problem and you need to look into why you really feel this way.

People aren’t sensitive it’s just that all the new reboots and remakes just so happen to check off race and gender boxes when they replace/redraw characters. ALL of them do this now. It’s kind of annoying to see your favorite child cartoons follow that pattern over and over again. For stuff like Velma, I agree, you shouldn't have to rewrite a character for the sole purpose of adding diversity. For something like this, reboot feels... inaccurate, though. It's more like a sequel series, following a brand new god kid. Also, a lot of the diversity boxes are being checked lately because society is playing catch-up. As we get more and more representation, checking the boxes will happen less and less until it starts happening on a level closer to the real life balance... much like how left-handedness skyrocketed when people were allowed to be lefties, but then petered out into the actual balance that we see today.

You just notice that there's more black protagonists, but there's still a majority of white protagonist. Also a lot of western media also has asian protagonists and it was never controversial. Its important for people to see themselves in these roles, you're free to watch something else if you don't like it, but the color of the protagonist shouldn't be a problem and you need to look into why you really feel this way.

People aren’t sensitive it’s just that all the new reboots and remakes just so happen to check off race and gender boxes when they replace/redraw characters. ALL of them do this now. It’s kind of annoying to see your favorite child cartoons follow that pattern over and over again. If you want more black female lesbians in a cartoon make brand new cartoon, don’t feed off my nostalgia is basically the thought.
For stuff like Velma, I agree, you shouldn't have to rewrite a character for the sole purpose of adding diversity. For something like this, reboot feels... inaccurate, though. It's more like a sequel series, following a brand new god kid.
Also, a lot of the diversity boxes are being checked lately because society is playing catch-up. As we get more and more representation, checking the boxes will happen less and less until it starts happening on a level closer to the real life balance... much like how left-handedness skyrocketed when people were allowed to be lefties, but then petered out into the actual balance that we see today.
