This is probably my favorite theory i’ve done, i know it lies on some speculatory aspects but i think it falls together neatly
ps: I know i’m pronouncing “Murray” wrong
I think this theory is fantastic. It heavily ties into the cut Afton family saffbot lines in SB. I just think that you should have mentioned which parts were more speculative, such as Spring trap wielding the phantoms, and Fredbear starting as a mascot costume instead of the implied version which is just a circus bear.
Plus you need to have cleared up the establishment of the timeline a little more - I thought you had said Freddy's had opened early on in the video but you then repeated this during the mimic line. Might just be me though.
Good video, very good framework for expectations going forward into SofM.
What is the soundtrack you used?
A failed magician with a passion for theatrics discovering the literal magic behind life after death goes crazy hard though...
He was british...
He was depressed...
They were both family guys...
They were WHAT
They were both husbands
No wonder people ship it 💀 even tho its abusive lol
WELL LUCKY THERE'S A FAMILY GUY
What? Its an american game. There americans you idiot
"and for my final act I will make your beloved child disappear without trace"
@@AngelTheory-M
that's a headcanon
William and Henry being magician and engineer also fits with they symbolism of magic sometimes in fiction being opposed by engineering, just like how William and Henry are the opposites
I absolutely love the idea of William possibly being a retired magician, since it perfectly fits him and his overall theatric personality, especially in the books.
And it’s so interesting to see how he keeps basing stuff he creates off of that specific origin he had in the circus, such as Spring Bonnie possibly being a callback to the bunny in the hat, ‘Circus’ Baby’s Pizza World and his bot being a magician in Security Breach.
It’s almost as if he can’t be original without help from Henry, which is why he keeps using themes from the circus since that was the only time William had an original idea, even if it failed and led to Henry helping him. It’s like he’s so desperate for his own idea to become famous, that he’ll step on everyone else’s until he’ll reach that goal.
I may be overanalyzing but this theory just woke up so many thoughts in me, i love it sm ‼️‼️NOT TO MENTION THE EDITING. LORDD THE WAY THE CIRCUS MUSIC BEGAN PLAYING AT 26:40 TO REPRESENT WILLIAM SPIRALING INTO MADNESS IS INSANELY GENIUS, i literally got goosebumps 😭
Look, you cooked a lot and I agree with a lot of things, but if I hear you say "MOR-RAY" one more time im losing it
Also ITS SAY-DISM
business partnership between two fruits ends in tragedy, a tale as old as time
And, in the end, despite recognizing it as a trap, he so arrogantly turned himself in to watch the show. And despite having expressed so much hatred towards Henry for all of these years, destroying his family, destroying Henry's family, and ruining the lives of so many people, the instant his hatred for William, which unlike Afton's, was very much warranted and actually *deserved*, was put into motion, william was outsmarted, outmaneuvered, and destroyed for good. Hatred born out of jealously and spite simply wasn't enough to match the unwavering, unyielding and provoked wrath of a righteous man.
Wow, sometimes i love this franchise.
outstanding comment, love this
your mention of alchemy coupled with scott's visible interest in the works of H.P Lovecrat made me think of one of his short stories "the alchemist" it's about a man who finds out that the wizard who "cursed" his family actually was an alchemist who invented the means to live forever and for hundreds of years killed the members of his family when they turned 32
I never actually knew about that story, but I do know Scott’s often been inspired by lovecraft especially with The Raven and Blackbird- there could be something here
@@entomdp The Raven was written by Edgar Allan Poe, not Lovecrat
I hope we learn more about William's past. Like, who were his parents? Did he have any siblings? Was there a tragic event in his past that caused him to commit his crimes?
100% agreed, I feel like eventually we've gotta know at least something relating to has past pre-fazbear
I bet like 20 dollars his mom was named Bonnie and/or inspired his love of bunnies, I BET 1 DOLLAR HIS PARENTS WERE NAMED FREDDY AND BONNIE
I KNOW! i'm a sucker for character backstories. Also, the thought of him going through with getting a visa is so funny to me
His parents are Pink Man and Blue Girl
The last question I can answer you with some evidence.
His reason was he is just a mad scientist that likes experimenting with remnant and such.
Depending on who you believe was the first to die, all options lead to him being bad for experimentation reasons.
But it's probably either Elizabeth or Charlie. I personally believe Elizabeth, so he made those killer robots for experimenting.
If Charlie, then same reason.
If CC, then he literally didn't care about his son's safetyness and let Michael bully him until the bite, so its still his fault.
Sister Location having a Freakshow/Circus like theme makes even more sense now
the editing in this video is insanely good
the theory itself is amazing
the narration had me hooked, that and the music choices, especially around The Spiral, where it got very tense due to how the events were escalating
10/10
What in the toxic doomed yaoi 💀💀
Tbh if edwins factory got turned into fazbears distribution center and if its also that one location under the pizzaplex, it would be really peak, like all of the most lore important locations. All in one place, connecting all as one location that's filled with the agony of many tragedies
HOLY SHIT. This is one of the best FNaF theories I've ever seen! Yes, the earlier parts of it require a fair share of assumptions, but they still fit. With how you present it, SOTM really seems like the missing link that will finally show what made William snap.
How you present the creation of Afton Robotics, the experiments and the funtimes as a multi-million dollar tantrum is also really funny and fitting for William, and helps explain some strange stuff about his progression as a killer/"scientist".
And that editing was amazing. I really liked the detail of the 1985 turning purple and the carrousel music when you were describing William's descent into madness.
Lastly, I want to ask, do you believe CharlieFirst or BVFirst? Because I think a lot of things allign with BVFirst, particularly with this theory, as Garrett's death could've made William feel ridiculed as a father, on top of as an artist, but what's holding me back from fully believing it is Midnight Motorist... I get if you don't want to answer that, but you should really make a video about it someday.
i feel like under this theory, while bv's death COULD drive william more to kill charlie (under reasons you said) it isn't *necessary* for charlie to die
like, the big bite wasn't even mentioned at all in the spiral section, which makes me believe under entom's theory, charliefirst, but even so, having bvfirst wouldn't ruin the "narrative" of entom's theory at all, it'd just add more "reason" for william to kill charlie and spiral down to into madness
though maybe i accidentally misunderstood the video so idk
Even though it's a bit speculatory, this is a very good and entertaining theory! However, I did notice a few BIG problems as I was watching:
1. 3:00 "Cicada Breach"
2. 3:46 You keep pointing at Helpy but not shooting him and it bothers me
3. You suck at the carousel level
4. Tell your damn bird to shut up
Looking forward to your next theory!
the queer subtext of these two truly suits the fact that the fnaf fandom is mainly queer…. love this for them and for us
There’s soo much of it in the original novels it’s crazy how long it’s gone unanalyzed and interpreted
Even if David Afton didnt die, William would have killed Charlotte Emily either way.
btw which season or month do you think Daves birthday at Fredbears/The FNAF 4 minigames/The Big Bite of '83 took place? Personally I believe it was in summer, probably june or july, some time during summer holidays.
EXACTLY
WAIT I JUST REALIZED THE ONE TIMELINE WHERE HE DOESNT KILL CHARLIE HE KILLS THAT TIMELINES VARIANT OF DAVID 💀
who is david afton?
gosh its so weird getting used to the crying child's official name 😭😭😭
@@FL0R4_AFT0N that’s not his official name it’s theorized
CMONNN THE EVIDENCE IS WAYYYY TOO STRONG AND SUMS UP PERFECTLY HOW COULD IT NOT BE?????
Ok I keep seeing people make this assumption, but fredbear from the posters and cutouts isn’t brown, he is a brownish-yellow color. He has the same fur color as the springbonnie poster. But yes his hat is black
THIS IS SO YAOIFUL 😭😭😭😭😭😭
real 💔💔🙏🙏
Doomed yaoi 😔💔
it’s true
@@donapuccis toxic old man yaoi Very peak
This is a great narrative! I’m gonna have to dive in and see if you have others liek this, however id love to see you go through the eras and lay out your own story and timeline based on the lore we know. It’s such a unique and creative way of theory crafting
Im surprised you didnt mention that Williams creation, SL/Circus baby is circused theme and would support even further he was a magician
Really enjoyed the erratic music choice as The Spiral progressed, one of the best narrative theories I've watched! Only thing is i don't quite think sun/moon is a henry creation, it ain't his usual design philosophy.
Into the pit supports this with the abandoned factory in the middle of town. Not many people call that out
This would give a lot of explanations to FNAF, even the Pizzeria Simulator Poster where we see a man that probably represents William with a puppet on his hand that reminds him that probably represents Michael
This is the first time ive heard someone theorize that charlottes killing was motivated by the fact that she was a distraction (paired with other things of course)
It's pretty good. I would probably tweak some details but I agree with the general theory.
this video is SO GOOD, i cant believe it only has 1k views
This makes sense. The theory is solid.
So, "Ella" could have became "Elenore", the main antagonist of the books?
Great theory, but I don't agree with Fredbear's Singin Show being from 1970. The style of the poster suggests it's way earlier in the 1930s, such as the Max Fleischer rubberhose style, the 50 cent price, the gramophone, and even the way it's worded when the poster says it sells "fresh unadulterated food and beverage", which is a historical hint towards the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of 1938, where advertisers had to use that sort of wording to show compliance to the new law. I agree with the rest of your theory, though.
Another idea as to why there was a 4 year delay for Freddy's:
We know Edwin was working on Freddy's animatronics in 1979, and we know Team B saw the suits before getting locked in and killed in January 1980. So perhaps the OG Mimic was the cause of the delay. Team after team was being killed by it, meaning FE couldn't get the Freddy's characters, which led to the delay until they could finally open in 1983.
Something i had in mind is that the protagonist (s) of SOTM is team A.
@@calinmik429 Same here!
Well, there was a poster in the Secret of the Mimic booths by Steel Wool that had a poster of Freddy's with the words "COMING SOON" plastered over it
If you ever make a FNAF movie timeline after they’re released PLEASE MAKE IT IN THIS older style
And to go even further, the fnaf pizza sim game had posters of afton in a circus type drawing
Also I love the theory this is my cannon now! :-D
What if Henry made chica in the image of the nighmarish folktale of the bone eater?
Yum bones
PEAK IS HERE
What do you think the designs of the mascot suits of the Freddy's characters mentioned in The Mimic and were probably used in Fall Fest where?
I definitely think that’s what they were
6:46 Interesting phrasing there bud
Can’t believe UA-cam kept this peak from me for 7 whole hours
24:06
I think that the 1979 stuff was most likely to confirm that the mimic story on tales takes place on 1979, not 1984
So secret of the mimic most likely takes place on 1980-1982
Considering Jackie/the Mimic doesn't have legs in SOTM, I would assume the game is set before December 1979.
@@freddy_frostbear548 its literally a fully different model from compared with mimic on ruin
Thats not the mimic, just a random animatronic
@@Wizardjones69 It is the Mimic. It has his scrapped eye textures from Ruin, and we hear Jackie's music box near the Mimic room. It's the Mimic, as confirmed in the title of the game.
@@firewings9954 it has a literal full on different body shape compared with ruin

@@Wizardjones69 it is objectively him. the books say that he can change his body
That was super freaking awesome! I really enjoyed this theory video.

the editing is so good it really is qualitative
looking forward to the next theory video!! 🙌
The theory may be good but I couldn't tell because I was too distracted by how bad you are at the fazerblast minigame in the background of the video /j
Jokes aside, really good video! Can't wait to see more theory videos from you in the future!
hi entom! where does afton's obsession with the springbonnie sut factors into this ?
I mention this in the video, but I think Springbonnie came from the idea of a magicians hat trick with the rabbit being pulled out. I think it’s a close connection to home for him because it’s a “rebirth” of what his biggest failure was , hence why he’s so obsessed with donning that role
@@entomdp I see! So, that scene in TSE where he's knocked out and only starts speaking when he has the mask on would mean that afton is only truly himself when he's in that magician persona, kind of? A persona that manifests through the springbonnie suit?
So the MCI is a good old disapearing trick, and william is like 'see these six perfectly innocent children? Abracadabra! They are gone now!'
Oddly enough that somehow makes sense and I’ve been really thinking that dittophobia took place somewhere in 1983 and that somehow fits and I’ve always thought sister location was after the events of the original Fnaf game in recent times although earlier I was wrong and thanks to someone else’s theory they’ve suggested that maybe the main character in what we found what he experienced in his life is like some sort of reflection whatever of William Afton along with Toy chica’s high school years because as stated before from somewhere I don’t really remember certain events can be retold in ways worse than ever before or something I really don’t remember as to how exactly it was said but it really does make you wonder with that very part and others
Dittophobia probably takes place in 1993 or further, I think William's experiments started in 1983 because of the code meaning that year, this is because FNAF 4 takes place in that year but it can mean William started his experiments in this year too
@ I actually believe that both dittophobia and cc fnaf 4 take place somewhere within 1983 with them both being the exact same but with what we see of fnaf 4 is Mike experiencing cc’s memories but warped and distorted by his own memories and other things along the events of fnaf 3 thanks to the fnaf security logbook
Yeah I like it, it made sense.
Agh! The video!! It's too peak for my ears!!

I really think the fnaf community needs to consider the possibility that william and henry are ex lovers… if you believe the books share narrative parallels for what’s possible in the fnaf universe, then mpreg is canon to fnaf
Yeah just no
Think about who Scott is and then come back to me with that gay shit
We got someone who didn't read in the flesh 🤭🤭
Well, the fnaf 4 house is charlies childhood home in the books and the whole the Baby is not mine and afton bring weird about the kids, there is a strong implication of some crossover in the families whatever it is through stealing the others wife, both mothers are mystheriously missing, or the men more directly. Could explain henries passivity and denial. . . I did think about it more then once even if i do not get much of the things I stumbled upon togeather at 4 am
@@ihavewaited90daystochangem51 may i remind you scott is the one who made mangle genderfluid
@@chet_irl ...have you ever considered you completely missed the point of a joke and it went way over your head?
It's still my headcannon that Mrs. Afton cheated on him for Henry
Or plain left him, there are quite a few hints at some Type of crossover in their families. Just saying the fnaf 4 house is charlies childhood home
Henry really doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would do that to his friend. Henry isn't a saint, but I also don't think it's in character for him to be a home wrecker. That's something Afton would do, not Henry.
hey now that youre back, whats up with the talbert files?
he made a video about a while back, he's not gonna talk about it anymore.
why is the music so god damn loud holy shit I can barely hear you.
