Not sure why people prefer the SBTV video, that one definitely had a slightly better concept, however the production and look of this music video is a lot stronger, this is something you can expect to see on TV, which is good news for the entire genre as it means this style gets heard more.
Original is cheaper and closer to roots. If a tune's grimey then the production value should be grimey. That's what people want.
