Thank you for your comment. It sounds like, once the tractor warms up it affects the drive. First, I'd check the belt's tension and ensure it's the correct belt for your machine. Then, I'd check the clutch for slippage. If they look good, check both front and rear pulls for wear.
Thank you for your comment. According to the owners manual and my local Craftsman dealer, my lawn tractor was manufactured by MTD. However, Husqvarna made the drive belt I purchased for this video.
@@BasaPete sorry to say but your Craftsman dealer is wrong it got manufactured by Husqvarna not MTD.. If yours model number starts with 917 or 944, it is likely manufactured by Husqvarna. Husqvarna has made products for retailers, including Sears, and many of those products have model numbers that begin with 917 or 944.
Good to see you back with another well-done video!!
Thank you for your comment.
Hey my friend, glad your back, God bless
Thank you.
nice job sir !
Thank you.
I replaced the drive belt on my G5100, but I still have the same issue. It will run fine for a little while, then lose all transmission of power.

My belt goes around the steering shaft
Thank you for your comment.
We have the same issue, how do you get it around the shaft.
@@carriemullenax5043 I'm not sure how the drive belt goes around the steering shaft, my belt goes to the left of the steering shaft.
MTD?? That's a Husqvarna, MTD never manufactured that tractor..
