WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is THE FIRST song/video of theirs I ever saw/heard, and like you just now, I was totally blown away by that guitar performance and was instantly hooked. Then I watched more videos and each one just kept getting better and better. I am now the proud owner of all their albums, a couple of shirts and the DVD of their Five of a Kind concert from 2020. Waiting for the world to open up to see them live.
this is the first song I listened to from them. I was cut up and eaten with a spoon by this band of samurais. WOW !!!!!!!!!! it is the observation that one makes on each of their titles. You are not at the end of your surprises. 99% of their discography is great, it's a musical top level every time. All the titles that you will make on their videos are of the same level with different musical colors. I'm not even talking about the album tracks that don't have videos and are incredible. I shared one on your facebook page in a comment, "Set the world on fire" kind of track that brings "Metallica" to its knees. Wow!!!!!!! And this is probably the 30th time I’ve heard this song. Vocalist Asami was singing R&B and gospel before joining Lovebites and studied ballet for a few years so this is probably why you see her as so graceful and different from your typical metal vocalist.

Princess Midori is getting lots of Birthday-LOVE on her social media. Very nice to see that. She might be feeling a little isolated out there in Japan, not being able to tour and all, but we let her know that we are always thinking about her! ( And the other members of Lovebites too! )
Miyako wants to be known as part of one of the best guitar duos in history and if Lovebites keeps going at the pace they are now for the next decade I don't think she needs to worry too much about that. Being in a power metal band doesn't hurt either since they get at least 45 seconds of solos per song and sometimes even a 1.5 minute duet to really show off. 🤣

Japanese sound engineering and video directing/editing really are next-level. These guys are so good at getting maximum effect from the sound/visuals combination. Whether it is Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila or any of another dozen bands, the videos, MV or Official Live, are always awesome. Nothing better than enjoying true masters, on stage and behind the stage or camera, practise their craft.

the thing you mentioned in 3:05, it's how it used to be done in very early power metal, where in chorus guitars drop single full notes and vocals take over, the only difference is early power metal bands didn't do double base there, but go listen to some Helloween, Riot or Gamma Ray, you'll notice it used to be common thing

it's a great solo, but by no means their best, Scream For Me takes solos to a whole higher level than this one. Also, Burden of Time live studio performance, Miyako doesn't just solo, she plays keyboard and guitar at the same time
Yeah! That squirrel like little monster behind the drum kit, she is so small you can hardly find her behind the kit, beats hell out of you like a big grizzly bear. You've got to watch out for the grizzly in a squirrel clothing!! she'll get you and eat from your head.

That’s the beauty of music. Everyone has different taste. I appreciate someone who recognizes talent even if it isn’t there style they like. That takes guts. We have many videos we made where it isn’t our style but appreciate the hard work and practice people put into there instruments

That’s the beauty of music. Everyone has different taste. I appreciate someone who recognizes talent even if it isn’t there style they like. That takes guts. We have many videos we made where it isn’t our style but appreciate the hard work and practice people put into there instruments
