I cried so many times watching this series. It’s so sad. A person can leave this world in split seconds. The last episode, I watched it multiple times, trying to understand the storyline, so it’s been five years, and he is still waiting and studying to become doctor just like Koichi wished for.

So , the series is about oumi unable to accept the death of yamada so he imagines/hallucinates about him , because his whole life no one has ever loved him like that unable to let go of someone important . Heres when it gets dark from what i think he goes back to the sea or camp it meant hes either considering suicide or have already died waiting for yamada at the camp thats why we can see adult him in the ending of the show
He doesn't hallucinate. Just Koichi is living corpse for 3-4 days because of Micchan's feeling, he couldn't let him go yet. But he had learn, he heals slowly. And when Koichi dies even after 5 years, he is Michaan's number one.
Also, yeah, he wanted to go to camping with him, enjoy barbecue and beer.
