Thank you for this video. I have watched every video I can find on the Atmos. Yours is the best. Not only do you review the computer, you compare it to others. You are the only one who explains how to use the compass. You convinced me to buy the Atmos. Thanks so much.
Naomi, thanks so much for your glowing review of my video It feels great that someone appreciates all the hard work that went into this video. I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun with your new Mission One. Wishing you safe and awesome dives 😀👌🏻
Thank you for the video, I watched many videos too but you made me actually press the “Buy now” button. Ill be diving in the blue Hole ( New Mexico) this weekend, not salt water but its deep and ill see the Atmos mission on the “mission.” Thanks again.
Update. Bought the atmos , also thanks to the reviews found online and they are unfortunately all not made well. Diving section is kinda ok apart from the water temperature that is always 2 degrees different from the top quality Diving computers, the HR sensor and the GPS sensor are absolutely garbage, unusable for running or any kind of sport. Better saving money for a cheap dive computer and buy also a running or sport device for everything else. But as I said, nice and cinegraphic review, not very accurate in the end but very pleaseable to watch 😂
Great video, I will have mine tomorrow. I went with the red and gold version. I talked to Divers Supply and the girl i talked to said her husband has minor vision problems and he loves the Mission One.
Stunningly shot video, and great review of the Mission One (which you obviously loved!) Couple of questions: 1) What camera/lens were you shooting with for those stunning close up underwater shots? 2) Does the Mission One have a 'guide' feature using GPS to take you around a known dive site? Really impressed with the footage you captured and your use of transitions (without overusing!) Best of luck in the future :)
Hi 👋 thanks for your compliments! I was using a threaded wide angle wet lens. I believe it gave me a 24mm field of view. At the moment the Mission One does not have a guiding feature. Thanks for noticing the little transitions 😅🙏 and for the encouragement. I really appreciate it. Have a great year ahead! - Baron
That was a very useful and meaningful review. great graphics. a discussion of the algorithm used by the watch software would be nice to know to compare to others, but still a GREAT review. Great video production.
Thank you Edward for your kind comments and support! Words like yours really make all this work worthwhile. It’s Baron here and I feel very inspired by your comments. Stay safe!
I'd rather own 2 of these than any Garmin or shearwater or scubapro ! I think this is an outstanding computer/watch. I look forward to when there is US support for it ! If I could change the battery myself I'd already own 2.
i got the Atmos mission2 as the Mission One is discontinued. NO VIDEOS to help me accept yours, although it is a lil bit more confusing! thank you for this.
I love your video!! It's the best computer review video I've seen. Others never mention the compass feature! Do you think you will make one for Garmin Descent 1? No one ever describes the compass.
Hi Cecilia, thanks for your most warm comments. I admit the compass scenes were pretty hard work but knowing there are divers like you who appreciate this, I am happy :) safe dives, Cecilia!
Awesome video! thorough and entertaining! Looking for a dive watch for my wife thats more stylish than a typical dive computer but still readable. Looks like a definite contender. Do you know will the computer provide safety stops if accidentally going into deco or will it lock up? Also any thoughts after long term use? Thanks!
Hi Wolfang, what's the difference between Atmos Missions 1 and 2? Mission 1 has been discontinued, wondering the reason and are there significant improvements to the Mission 2? Going through their specs, there doesn't seem to be much.
thanks for showing the compass, was looking for that all over. is there an easy way to swap between the dive com info and the compass? reason being, if we have to take note of depth
Hey Will. Using the watch for 3 months now. Usually used as a normal watch it would last about a week. I usually dive in the weekends with 3 to 4 dives and still has plenty to last the week as well.
Thank you for the great video. Do you know of anyone that has used this for diving that wears glasses? I am wondering how well it can be seen without glasses. I looked at the manual online, but could not find any information about switching between metric and imperial. It has two great features that I didn't see in this video (I may have missed it, sorry)that I'd like to mention. It tracks "No Fly" time as well as surface intervals. Those are big ones for traveling divers. Awesome video. I thought you were in Bali at first when I saw some of the aerial footage.
Thanks for your kind comments, Dan. I haven't met anyone using glasses with the Mission One. But the large high-res font size and bright screen would help. To switch between metric and Imperial is only a few steps... Setting -> Unit -> ft F° and that's it! The No Fly and SI are displayed on the main screen above the time. This will show up after a dive. Thanks for watching. Stay safe! - Baron
@@wolfangdigital Thank you, Baron. This may become my new dive computer. I'm a cold, freshwater diver from Michigan, in the United States. @@daddyrabbit835 Hi Dan, it's great to know another Phantom pilot. I refer to mine as big old faithful... she's big but she never fails! I watched your video. Those are some great shots but I feel the best one is in the credits where you chased a speedboat. The lumbering giants are fun to shoot but the speedboat keeps the adrenaline pumping! The straps on the M1 are easy to replace if need be
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful to me to see the direct comparisons to other similar computers underwater. After 2yrs, do you still recommend this computer?

Because of this video I bought my mission one. However I'm facing a problem with the gps. Doesn't seem to work indoor and outdoor, not even after updating it to 1019. On my android phone it gives me an error as well went i try to sync the GPS data. Download ephemeris data fail. Any workaround guys? But overall still love the watch.
Hi Zeeckees, sorry to hear that. GPS should work especially well outdoors. If the Mission One is totally exposed to the sky (no roof) you should at least get some connection at least
So I just purchased this dive watch and am very excited about it but for some reason I can't figure out how to mark a site. When I go to add site it only displays today's date, no coordinates. Do you know how to fix this?

Decent little Dive computer. The Bluetooth speed takes you back to 14k modems days. Can not get anyone to commit on how battery replacements are going to be handled. We will keep 1 on the shop floor, but I do not expect to sell a lot due to the piss poor Android support. Seems like they only want to support Apple. This basically kills 75% of my clients that would be interested in purchasing.
