This team makes me think back to Coach Gibbs' first team in 1981. The difference is that team started 0-5 and Finished 8-8. Something just Clicked in week 6. By the End of that Season the rest of the League was glad we Didn't make the Playoffs because they Didn't want to Face us. This Team got there in Week 3, and Unlike the '81 Team has the Division Lead . We Don't have to wait for Next Year This Time.
This has been a crazy year so far. If you look at the projected power rankings to start the season, things are way off with the exception of Detroit, KC, GB, TB, 49ers, Bills, Texans. Teams near bottom are top/middle, teams near top are bottom/middle. Still early, but as we near mid-point of season, cream floating to top, waterlogged are sinking.
I'm enjoying the ride. AP picked Mariota because he is similar to JD, just not the skillset of JD. After knocking rust off and players getting used to the change (cadence), they took off. Yeah, it was Panthers; last year it was just the Bears, the Giants, etc. You still need to win the game and after playing Ravens, a letdown could have been possible. But the vets and coaches won't have any of it. This is a whole new bag; enjoy it.
Hold up did he say Texans didn’t have their number one WR and they only had Diggs. Correct me if I’m wrong but how long has Diggs been a number one in this league? That is not an excuse for Stroud. Collins just became a number one WR.
