There's a good reason for Geoff being nicknamed "the human bass guitar" in VoicePlay. He's very skilled at using his voice to emulate what a bass guitar would do in a song, hitting series of notes quickly and precisely even a whole octave apart.

Geoff does amazing arpeggios in The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim that go beyond what ha did here.

If you really wanna hear Earl go at it, one of my favorite examples is their Queen in Five Minutes medley. It's not just a great mix with seamless transitions, and we already know how talented these guys are, but the music video itself tells a story inspired by real events with Earl. He also just goes haaaam on his belts in it, highly recommend you check it out!

Geoff's bass arpeggios more represent how it would be played on a bass guitar. He is doing octaves, 3rds, and 5ths just like I would play them on a bass.

Eli is an accomplished voice actor. In their Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, he does voices ranging from Lock to the Mayor to Sandy Claws. In Little Mermaid, he does Sebastian (for Kiss the Girl) but also Scuttle. In Mountain King, he does a goblin voice, and an operatic voice.
Geoff scoops or slides into notes when the arrangement calls for it, but that wasn't the effect that was wanted here.
Earl has some really nice solos in Boy Bands.
Yes, Layne sings very well when he's not busy doing perc. He has the mad chef's solo in Little Mermaid, and shorter parts in Rich Man and Grinch, among others.

Can we also tale a moment to appreciate the arrangement Layne did for this? He is so multi talented! 😅

Layne was the group's original baritone until their beatboxer (Scott Porter - you see him in their Halo cover) left to pursue his acting career. It's always a special treat when we get to hear him sing, because it's so rare that it happens
edit to add: in addition to the other recommendations for more of Layne singing, you should check out the following

If you want to hear Rachel REALLY shine, the Little Mermaid medley she did with the guys shows off her Disney Villain voice as well.

Yes, Layne CAN sing and he can 'sang'. He usually does character voice when he does, but even that is fabulous. If you want to see another fun medley and hear Layne sing in character watch the Little Mermaid Medley. Geoff has some amazing feats of voice in it. Rachel is back as guest. Ellie is smooth and silky and of course, so is J.None. I think you'd enjoy it!

If you want to hear more if layne singing then he sings in .. in the air tonight, my mother told me, the greatest showman, little mermaid melody, grinch im sure theres more im forgetting. He used to be the baritone until they lost the beat boxer. Eli when earl was in the band was 2nd tenor so more if the the lovely smooth eli and in some songs like little mermaid he takes some of the base line when geoff sings.
Rachel has an aamzing voice, she was "friends with Ariel" and that shows in the little mermaid melody.
Also in the greatest showman melody there is a section when they all beatbox, its one of my favorites of theirs.

You will depress Geoff if you say Earl has something Jack Black'ish about him 😆 - Geoff is the fan! Watch their Peaches mini to see Geoff let out his inner Jack Black (and also hit his highest ever note 😉).
There are quite a few songs where Layne sings and we are always here for it!!!
Eli can be a smooth crooner - love his voice - and he has a huge range as well.
    Rachel is just plain awesome.
Earl has an insane tenor range. 🌹🕊

Geoff bouncing around throughout the scale during Moana's "How Far I'll Go" is thanks to Layne's arrangement. They've been friends for decades, and Layne seems to like to push Geoff's skill-set when he gets the chance in his arrangements. But Geoff isn't afraid to test himself - he does a set of arpeggiated bounces in The Dragonborn Comes (which Geoff arranged) that usually shocks reactors who have a musical background. To me, it's even more impressive than his work in this medley.

Rachel is terrific - my first one with her in it was Little Mermaid which is so much fun. Some of the ones she participates in: Wicked, Greatest Showman, Attention, Chandelier, Phantom of the Opera, Somebody to Love, O Holy Night, I Knew You Were Trouble/As Long as You Love Me. Back when the guys (Geoff, Layne, Earl, Scott Porter) were just getting started in 1997 (as 4:2:Five) Scott wanted to get an acting career (beatboxer at the time) and Layne was the baritone (yes, a lovely voice) and wanted to take up the beatboxing. Geoff taught him what he knew and Layne never looked back. He also is a classically trained violinist - which has given him a nickname of VioLayne (check Warriors, Nothing Else Matters, The Lion Sleeps Tonight) and also Carrot Lord. I do think he is the finest of the acapella vocal percussionists. If you want to hear VPs Dragonborn Comes, Geoff does some incredible arpeggios. Have you done VPs Hellfire?

The one miss most reactors have on this one is not realizing that Eli is actually singing the bass line during Geoff's solo.

Even though we know Eli can sing some bass lines (I'm Too Sexy he sings bass in the beginning), Layne confirmed in his interview with The Charismatic Voice that Eli is just mouthing the bass line here so he has something to do visually. Geoff is the one actually singing it for the recording.

Rachel has the perfect Disney Princess voice. She has been in a few Disney medleys with VoicePlay.

I'm a huge fan of Eli's "rock god" vocals, but when he gets into the smooth and soulful style, it's just as amazing. One of the first things I ever heard him sing was their Little Mermaid Medley and his lead on Kiss The Girl kinda makes me feel like my brain is melting.

Earl - listen to Queen in Five Minutes. He has an amazing voice.
Layne singing - there are several songs where he sings. He was originally their baritone. Geoff taught him to beatbox.

Another great video to hear amazing arpeggios from Geoff is Dragonborn Comes. He has 4 full up/down runs in four different scales/chords. Amazing!

I haven't seen anyone commenting that Eli is singing the bassline during Geoff's solo. That is bonkers to me, and I need more Eli bass

Layne actually has a rather vide range, not as vide as Geoff, and he is a really good singer. But then again all of them are.
