Great review! I wouldn't have purchased it due to the limited torso length and the crazy stacked pockets are definitely a minus. Keep up the great work!
I have another video coming up called backpack buyers remorse where I talk about the mistakes I made when purchasing this bag, lol. It was a learning opportunity.
Well, I bought a brand new N.F. Terra 50. Costing me full price coming out of Great Britain. Thank you so much for your review. I'm guessing this will be slightly different from yours but even if it's the same I'm sure I'll enjoy it. It'll take about three weeks to get here. Sorry to keep pestering you about this pack. I'm excited. I haven't bought a high end pack like this since the late 1970's when I got my Lowe Alpine pack, which I still have. Do you know when Terra 50 was discontinued? Anyway, thanks again.
Thank you. I think this would be a perfect fit for myself. I like sewn on lids, non adjustable torso lengths for lighter weight, and those two front pockets would be wonderful for snacks, trash, or lightweight gear. Everything you didn't care for I found endearing 🙂 Sorry, but I'm really going to check this pack out. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Good job and good review. Do you still have it, & for sale?
Yes you can still find this pack! I personally use this for a winter pack. I love I love attachment loops for holding my hatchet and saw. Typically in the winter I bring bushcraft tools to build a fire for warmth and I like to have them easily accessible on the outside of the pack, so since filming this video I've found a great use for this pack!!!! @@LoneCrowAdventures thx for the comment, I didn’t think size and season mattered. What size bag should one use for a sleeping bag, tent etc for 15 days in summer
@@604roger if its a 15 day backpacking trip you'll want to build resupply points in your journey. Most people do. If not you'll need probably a 110l pack to accommodate food and fuel needed for that length ive never done more than 5 days without hitting a resupply point. Even if its just a gas station or something.
Still lovin' mine. And, still grateful to you for bringing it to my attention. Made a short video, again, on it tonight.
Yeah this is a solid pack for sure. I especially like it for winter as I can strap my implements to the outside easily
I actually like the look of this bag. It looks sharp.
That's what I though too but it does not fit me great.
Great looking pack for a weekend getaway or shorter distance hiking. I like the pockets and the hip belt looks comfy.
For a taller person it would be.

I always load up my pack in the store before I decide to but it. That way I know if it’s comfy.
Yep thats the best way to know.
thanks for the review, this is a good backpack
Thanks for taking the time to check it out
Choose one: terra 45 vs terra 50. The terra 45 looks better maybe?
I like the 50. 45 is a bit too small

I think last year. 2020 saw a lot of products getting discontinued from multiple brands.. Bummer.
@@LoneCrowAdventures Just got the reply, $139, including shipping. Good deal for me. And it is the larger size. Whew!
Looks like a nice backpack. I agree with the weird pockets on the front tough. Strange and bizarre design.
It is a crazy design as far as I'm concerned.

@@LoneCrowAdventures Thank you. The large x-lage is over $200. I'm retired. Gonna try for one on ebay tonight. $40 right now. I always get out-bid.
i have one but my back pannel does not feet completely. Why?
Torso size is probably off, either too big or too small.
Is it good for backpacking on level ground approx few kilometres a day with sleeping back and tent? Or 65L
Yeah it's a great size for up to 4 to 5 days trip. A 65l I only use in the winter for extra insulating layers.

Wow that review was a little harsh!
I was really disappointed in this bag.
