Yeah, Kai auditions his dance team and many are choreographers and got to choreograph for Kai later on as well. It's like a badge of honour to be in Kai's team as a dancer. Several of his dancers (male and female) even participated in dance shows with the fame they got in Kai's team.
I would love for you all to gather and watch Street Woman Fighter season 2 (or even just battle highlights/crew videos available at The CHOOM). It's a dance crew battle survival show which currently has 8 crews including 6 Korean (1Million, Deep N DAP, Bebe, Mannequeen, Wolf’lo, Ladybounce), 1 global (Jam Republic led by Kirsten Dodgen) and 1 Japanese (Tsubakill led by Akamen) _The first season was a sensation across Korea, the hype lasted for months and actually slowly shifted the industry's thinking in how dancers were seen and treated._

No estoy de acuerdo en muchas de sus criterios como cuando juzgaron a Taemin y Ten pero respeto su sinceridad. Aquí incluso les cayó a los bailarines de respaldo xd.

Kai is a better performer than a technical dancer. He really draws attention for his "sexy aura" his energetic dance and his 101 facial expressions. his fans hype his ballet and jazz background when his current technique doesn't reallly reflect any ballet or jazz foundation anymore.
Without that foundation he wouldn’t dance the way he does. It’s kinda insulting and dismissive to chalk his skill and ability to “energy” and facial expressions.

I have read many comments saying that he is better because he has ballet/jazz training he had some ballet and jazz training when he was young and there are certains aspects to his aesthetic choices that are somewhat influenced by it (eg looking clean,and precise) but unlike popular opinion his current technique doesn't reflect jazz/ballet foundations his strongly hunched posture when he dances is a deal breaker in ballet-adjacent styles.

I doubt she even watched the reaction. Body control, balance, musicality and many other terms don't mean anything to her. Kai didn't just learn ballet and jazz. He learned ballet and jazz when he was young, and after joining SM, he learned all genres such as poppin, hip-hop, modern dance, and urban. Longer than I learned ballet and jazz. He still goes to a dance academy to learn how to dance. Ballet and jazz are his basics, but Kai can dance more genres than you think.
