I found your channel on accident 2 months ago, it popped up on my UA-cam Home screen - lord knows why as I had no interest in Golf whatsoever... in the time since, I've grown obsessed with this sport and now my wife and I are going to the driving range every day. We play our very first 9, tomorrow morning. Thank you for the inspiration Zac!
So glad you found this course...I lived and worked nearby just as they were building and routing it and you could tell it was going to be something special. Can't wait for Part 2 to see how you fare on the wild side!
Holy Mackerel, Driver-8 iron on hole 5. That Sir is Luscious and Long. I'm no math major but I do believe that's 332 off the tee. 212 yd 8 Iron would have Dechambeau blushing. I was stationed at Minot AFB in "83", nice to see you playing golf in ND. They have some hidden gems. Keep these sweet vids coming Zac. Cheers from Tucson
Been watching your vids for awhile now. Cool to see you play in my home state. Bully is a ton of fun. That back nine is no joke... Can't wait to hear your thoughts. FYI, it seems weird that this would be true, but Medora, ND is about 2200 feet above sea level. I found when I played in Nashville that I was a full club shorter than in North Dakota, at least. Looks like you experienced the opposite coming from there.
Welcome to our state, Also FYI this courses is usually very green, but most of North Dakota has been hit with an awful drought! Hope you enjoy and if you can ever make it up and play more course, The Links in Ray, ND, The Oxbow south of Fargo and The Hawktree just north of Bismarck are all amazing courses as well. Also heard the newer redone Painted Woods in Washburn, ND is a fun one as well. PS Love your videos!
shoulda went and played The Links of North Dakota also! Super beautiful course and very very challenging, awesome to see you made it all the way up here to experience hands down the most scenic part of ND!!
Dang, hate you had to skip number 8. I pictured a nice drive starting out down the left edge with just a little fade ending up straight through to the left center of the fairway. Nice low iron approach shot lands a foot past the hole, spins back and in for eagle!! Dang course maintenance caused us all to miss it.
I love your videos and they’re getting so much better. I think they can be even better if the frame rate was increased a touch. Smoother looking to see your swing brotha
So cool to revisit this course through your eyes. I played this back in September in 2012. Part of my 50 Rounds in 50 States. By the way, I only have Alaska left to play. This is one of my favorites from my road trip. On to the back 9. Curious what you did on #15.
Zac, your pre shot routine has helped my ball striking tremendously. The tempo and the slow back swing is what gets me. I tried it one time and strike the ball better than I ever have. Thank you for the great content. Need to see a scramble with good good soon?
I'm not sure why your foot slipped Zac, but it is good example for everyone to make sure your spikes in your shoes are good, because once they've worn down close to the base of the spike, replace them. I am not a fan of spike-less shoes because of this very reason, when your playing on wet or damp or even thin grass, there's always a chance of slipping even just a miniscule amount. Fresh spikes always gives you complete contact with the ground and you may find yourself hitting the ball further because of it.
Youve been hanging around Tig too much if youre hitting your 8 iron 212yrds... whats the secret sauce yall are hiding haha great video tho! That intro was awesome

So glad you enjoy and unfortunately my camera is only capable of 30 FPS at 4K currently but I am hoping to upgrade this fall!
Was the ball flying because the air was thin? I've played courses where the air was thin and the ball was LAUNCHING
It might have been!
Zac could you give me some driving and putting tips cause I will be going to play golf on Saturday and Sunday so yeah would really help
He’s not your servant 😂😂

Dude... Arrowhead Golf Course outside Denver NEEDS you to check it out!
are you going to play in any mini-tour events with Tig?
I am hoping to get back into competition this winter/spring
Minot country club next! C'mon, it's worth it!! ND as well!
Thanks for the recommendation 👊
@@ZacRadford yup, I work there as a greens keeper. You wouldn't regret it. Love the content!
Love to join you on this Trip, think you start to move your putter backwards again…

Are you going to post the vid of the back nine? I have played there and the back is a lot better and beautiful
I just did yesterday! It is the latest upload on the channel. Hope you enjoy 👊
Triple bogey on 8. Trees on right, to trees on left, to chunk out. If I have to skip holes, I will go back to another hole and play it again.

212. 8 iron. Is your name Bryson?
The ball was flying here for sure!
6:17 don’t know how you had a slight draw on that
Give yourself an eagle be generous in life😀
North Dakota is real?
Sucks you came under bad drought conditions
