You’ve spent more money in masking tape than on the model itself, but what a stunner is what you created! Awesome work!
In fact not too much money to mask, because I reused it many times once I cut it at first, but You're right I needed more masking tapes than other kits. I'll show you CF-18 Hornet 1/48 Kinetic later once again. Thank you for watching!

By far the best example of meticulous masking and painting. That looks like a very challenging paint scheme and you made it look very easy. Outstanding job and that Hornet reflects it. Looking forward to the next build.

예전 부터 이 위장이 맘에 들어 '구하기 어려운 만리장성 mig-29 SMT 키트 대신 그냥 악하뎀이 키트에 이 위장을 함 넣어볼까??' 란 생각을 몇 번이나 했었는데 그게 얼마나 위험한 생각이였는지를 깨우쳐주신 제작기네요 😂😂😂

저도 맘에 들어 시작했다가 중간에 약 2주 정도 손 놓았었습니다. 하기 싫어지더라구요.. ㅎㅎ 😱😱😱 어렵게 구하신 키트인데 급하지 않게 잘 준비해서 완성하시기를 바랍니다. 저도 마찬가지로 아직 열지 못한 녀석이 있는데요~ 언젠가는 선보이는 날이 오겠지요~ㅎ

정말 어마어마한 작품이었네요. 이번엔 칵핏 디테일도 끝장나지만, 진짜 저 도색... 숨이 턱턱 막히는 장면들의 연속입니다.
이건 정말 초창기 톰켓에 버금가는 기념비적인 작품이 될거같은 느낌적인 느낌이 듭니다. 홧팅!!! ㅎㅎㅎ

This is the best scale modeling I've seen for a loooong time, Matilda Models! Perfectly executed and finished. You have a lot of skill, Sir! I have the same kit here and postpone it since years, because I'm afraid of the camouflage. But you make it look so easy!!!! 10/10!!!! Best regards to South Korea, my friend!
One question: How many metres of masking tape did you use for the Hornet? It seems it was the "Battle of the Masking Tape"! 😉
Thank you! Mate! I think you could complete that kit enough. You know that's tiring work to mask tapes not difficult. Now I'm building F-35A 1/48 Tamiya that has many challenges and need to many masking tapes. 🤣🤣🤣 I'll do my best! Best regards to my friend!
My answer : about 9 meters(10mm), about 4 meters(0.4mm)

Wow, just wow, after sitting through the whole video I'm just left speechless, the amount of masking tape used is just insane, amazing piece of art, I've been wanting to do this exact Splinter camo since I started doing this hobby (2020), but I've just been too scared to do it. How did you mask the landing gear bay in 11:47 like that? How is it just floating like that? And how do you put down small and thin masking tape so accurately? I could never do something like this.
It's not normal to mask the landing gear bay but I would tell you the skill. Just find some space between boundary and cut masking tapes as small rectangular shape and use them like a bridge as linking between ends. Just practice please! I don't have any secret. In addition you can buy small and thin micro masking tapes in the market; 10mm, 7mm, 4mm which I have already bought as many as possible to use. Thank you so much for asking, visiting and watching!
