Awesome video man! I've never installed anything but a stock cooler so I was very afraid to pull the trigger on this. I really appreciate people like you who help spread info for the rest of us.
Good job dude, the fact you installed that cooler correctly and you did it with the motherboard already in the case, tells me you know what you’re doing. Many Tec tubers don’t install this correctly. You should have more subs.
Thanks for video, The AIO pump died on my 6600k CPU, the CPU literally runs in 80c range when Idle and instantly jumps up to 100c when i turn any game or anything using CPU on. So I ordered this cooler for it and was watching your video to get a better idea of the installation. Thanks! I just hope my CPU hasn't had any damage from running it hot for a while, I had to turn off all OC setting and turbo just to keep is stable for just browsing for now.
Had no idea what to do, until I found this video so thank you! I kept hearing dripping noises every 1 minute or 2 ever so slightly in my water cooled previous one so my step dad said its most likely that so try changing it. So far an hour or 2 I've heard nothing! all good :) I did forget to plug in the power to the GPU oops but it told me to when i turned on the PC lol as it was easier to work without it in there.
Thank you so much, Michael. I just installed the same fan this very evening and cut the temps in half for my overheating i7-8700k. Subbed in a heartbeat
This video is a year old so I hope this question is seen. The fan comes with paste on it, is that enough to use or would it be better to clean that off and apply my own?
The cooler goes over the ram but there's enough clearance unless it's extremely tall RAM stick. You do sometimes have to raise the right fan up to clear the ram sticks.
I've had a few water coolers(small and big radiators)before and wasn't really impressed with the cooling and now i've bought a new pc but I din't upgrade the cooling fan so just running stock but it gets pretty hot even on idle 50+ and in heavy games it can go up to 90 degrees celsius on max which isn't good but usually it is around 80 but still i wanna upgrade it, so friends told me to get this one your installing in this video supposted to be really good for the price and also it's silent which i want!
@@MichaelTheComputerGuy omg thank you so much.... so its good.... I will donate you some money but first of all i buy that cooler I think this cooler is perfect for a i5-9400F
i hope you can help me.. we built a new pc for my buddy and used this cooler.. when we power up the pc the cooler starts spinnin and then immidiately stops.. whats the problem? thank you
Maybe an electrical short. Take the motherboard out of the case and look for a riser in the case that shouldn't be there. If there is a riser where there is no hole in the motherboard it can touch and cause what you're seeing.
@@sayof_cp1006That may be the best it can do. Make sure the cooler is all the way down. If it is one of the larger 2 fan coolers from be quiet or noctua can get those temps lower.
There's nothing on the motherboard that is magnetic or could be hurt by magnets. The only thing susceptible to magnets are hard drives and it would take a very powerful magnet to erase them.

Thank you so much, is not easy to understand how to put the fans clips, but your explanation is very clear
super helpful as its my first time fitting an cpu air cooler, great job

Hey! What is your temps in bios?
I have about 40 degrees with this cooler on my i7-8700. Feels a bit hot for no load temps
Thank you for this video man 🙏

Pre applied thermal paste is fine. No need to replace it with your own.
i have got a: kodak esp c315 all-in-one printer..... why windows 10 do not support it?. where can i find the DRIVER? i really need your help.
If you can find Windows 10 drives try Windows 8.1 driver. Older drivers for Windows 7 may also work.

Could this cool a I9-12900KF processor?
So it does not sit over a memory slot as some people state. That means I can use all four memory slots?

@@MichaelTheComputerGuy Thank you very mutch.
nop don't buy this crap, it's hell if you want to add ram you have to fire the huge fan and pray that it goes to the milimeter
Would this cool a Intel 10700 processor better than Intel Stock Cooler does? Case have is Thermaltake V200 TG RGB?
Yes

Most cpu coolers have pre applied thermal paste

Check the 24 and your 4+4 pin connectors to your mobo. Or a short.
Hi, I also bought one today, but for some reason it doesn't cool as it should for me at idle 50-55 under load 90-95
What CPU?

I'd say so
It is rated @ 150W TDP
And your cpu rated @ 65 W TDP
So, it works

Can you tell me what cases this cooler can fit in?
Google the cooler and look at the dimensions. You can check that against the case you choose by looking up its specs on Google.
good one
Compatibility with tomahawk b450?
Yes
why are you using a magnet tip screwdriver that could easy mess things up on motherboard but good video on installing :)
