What a lovely version of this song. I'm rapidly coming to the opinion that not only is Magda Giannikou a lovely singer, great musician, and great songwriter - and multi-linguist - but is also a truly great arranger. I love the blend of instruments and voices - in particular, Magda's straight-tuned accordion along with Mika's vibraphone. Restful and delicious!
This is my 2nd favorite song on this album, Yerakina is my 1st bc it is amazing! All of Banda Magda's music has such a wide span of the use of dynamics. I love it.

En el grupo de Facebook audiófilo "SuperAudio" hablamos muchísimo de Snarky Puppy, Jacob Collier, Banda Magda, Cory Henry, Bill Laurence y todo lo que sale de GroundUp. Siempre decimos que estaría genial que lancen cosas superiores a 16 bits 44 kHz. Estas grabaciones parece que lo valen.

This song is about a man whose woman left him. For a long time he waited for her to come back but she never did. All the while he was a wreck, crying, sobbing not eating until he finally died calling out her name.
He then comes back in the form of a dove and still waits for her to come back. Still loves her, and still cries for her. The message at the end of the song is basically "dude, she ain't coming back; stop this crying over her. Her heart is hard as a rock, she doesn't know about love". This song is like "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones to the extreme. Nevertheless is a beautiful song.
