Or a scorpion. I had a scorpion on my boot once. I was sitting on a rock resting. I jumped up and stomped until it fell off. I resisted the urge to squash it under my boot, as I WAS invading its habitat.
You gotta worry about flash flooding. Once you're in you probably will have to go all the way through. You might have to rapell in certain sections and there can be deep pools of cold water. You shouldn't just go do this if you don't know what you're doing.
My son and his bff just did this hike. The pics are alarmingly beautiful! As his mom, I’m always happy to see the pics, because I know he survived. He’s an extreme sportsman. Ugh 😅
I lived in Utah to and the only reasons it can be deadly is if you don't take the right precautions before going on the trip. I have been on this hike before and it was fantastic. If you do any hiking I suggest you actually go and do this. It was one of the coolest places I have ever been and I would do it again.

Diamondhead is a moderate hike in one of the (smaller) mountains of Oahu, Hawaii. Maybe it would've been a bit better if it were cooler and more scenic. Otherwsie, I don't reccommend.

The nutty putty cave is underground and really complex, also you have to crawl instead of walk. Not saying this isn't dangerous but aslong as you aren't stupid and don't risk going in if your claustrophobic or too big too fit then you'll be fine.
They are closing many trails like this down. If you accidentally take a wrong turn, you can get stuck in one of these tight spaces. We used to play around in the nutty putty caves as teens, until one day a man got stuck and they had to leave him in there. Please don’t try these out unless you are experienced or know the trails very well.
We love Utah! It's a beautiful place and it has so many cool places to go! This is an amazing trail, I have been on it and I would highly recommend you go on it someday.

Oh right you start from point A, travel to point ABCDXYZ and then stop and finish your hike or continue. You don't do a loop hike or any other hike without traveling first.
I'd 100% do this It's way chiller than caving cus you can still see the sky and its way safer, but it's still the same fun of weaving through the jungle gym when you were young I'd love this!! ❤
