I haven't watched the whole video yet but THANK YOU! So far the way you are explaining it is so much more relatable than any of the other videos I've watched. I really appreciate it 😊 I've been searching for clarity on the Tree of Life for months 💜
Western Esoteric Tarot/Kabbalah - You have to climb all the way to the top of the Tree of Life if you want a 360 degree all-inclusive god's eye view (perspective) of/on Life. Supernals: Ain = Reality = That which is/That I am Ain Soph = Continuum of Being/Life (potential) Ain Soph Aur = Creative Intelligence (actual) Read from bottom up: Sephiroth: 1. Kether: Absolute = all-inclusive That which is nothing in particular (actual), is by definition everything in general (potential). The All in One in All. 2. Chokma: Eternity - Because the Absolute is unlimited, it is Eternal, for only Eternity can fully embrace Infinity. 3. Binah: Infinity - Because the Absolute is the One without a second, thus unlimited, it is Infinite. 4. Chesed: Actuality - Because the Absolute functions as a unified diversity or Uni-verse, actualization of potential is Eternal. 5. Gebura: Potentiality - Because the Absolute functions a diversified unity of potential, the potential for actualization is Infinite. 6. Tipereth: Conversion - We actualize potential by dreaming our experience (rehearsing the future), and experiencing our dream. Conversion of potential into actual is indefinite. 7. Netzach: Experience - Application of knowledge learned to upgrade quality of experience. 8. Hod: Awareness - We employ awareness to learn from experience. 9. Yesod: Soul - Integrated Psyche (Heart, Mind, Will). When the Heart aspires, the Mind inquires and the Will conspires (combines). 10. Malkuth: Kingdom of Pleasantness (Heaven). Seek first the Kingdom of Pleasantness (Heaven), and all else shall be added unto you. The Kingdom of Pleasantness is within you and all around you. There is a super abundance of Pleasantness in every leaf, every blade of grass, every pebble, every breath, every happy memory, etc. Collect them, enjoy and appreciate their value to yourself and others. To one that has shall more be given..... Happy trails! Namaste'.
Hey M8 thank you for taking time to do this video, I have understood more from you then most of the books out there ..its very much appreciated ....kind Regards ..Mark (UK)
Just wanted to let you know this was one of the best videos I needed to see to connect my tarot knowledge even more. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m going to learn your chart and the meanings and the pathways to help me further my skills! I subscribed and can’t wait to see even more video.
Hey, Lennan. I am from Brazil and I started my studies in tarot recently. I have a little bit of difficulty for understanding the relation between the tree and the cards. Your video help me so much! I want to thank you.
@@LennanSmith yes!! I feel like giving it time to sink in, taking notes and coming back to it again will help! I learned tarot years ago using the hermetic deck so I have a base at least ! Thanks again xxxxx
Wow, I had Deja Vu at The Hanging Man when you said "Splendor and Beauty", then you said you were having Deja Vu yourself right after while describing Wheel Of Fortune. I just discovered your interesting channel, I was looking for info on The Tree of Life and found your vid. I enjoy your light hearted, down to earth, approach to this esoteric topic it's refreshing to us newbies who have joined this journey to the light. I'm going through your other vids and liking, and sharing. Thank you Wise One!
Thank you, kind soul! 😘 I try to convey information without the severity of being talked AT by a teacher figure. So happy that you are liking my content. ❤❤❤
Thos was so helpful and fascinating! Thank you! That passage that you read seems to have switched Strength and Justice cards. I would think Justice would go with “equilibrium” since it is the libra card and “fortitude” would go best with Strength. These cards also used to be iflipped before the Rider-Waite deck, I believe….
New to your stuff Lennan and absolutely love your passion, the beautiful southern accent helps too! My longstanding question with the Tree is which, if any, is the correct one. Waite has Binah on the left to Kether as you’re looking at the tree, so the opposite to how you have displayed the tree here. Crowley, in Magick, has the above tree. If you were to say there’s nothing on the back then it wouldn’t matter but given we know from Liber 231 and Kenneth Grant’s Nightside of Eden, that the Qlippoth and the adjoining Tunnels of Set are ok the back, which is the correct Tree? I even emailed Michael Staley, head of Starfire who published Grant’s trilogies and he said he didn’t know and suggested the only way to fully know is to study pre-Zohar texts. My worry is if you’re using any tree different to the original Semitic Tree that AE Waite displays in The Holy Kabbalah, that actually working with the backside.
This is a great question. I'm not sure actually. In my understanding, there are trees within trees according to the Golden Dawn tradition. 🤷♀️ I think, Waite's Tree of Life is probably based on the older Marseille/playing card tarot arrangements which Crowley switched around.
Thank you! Oh, a few I'd recommend would be, "The Chicken Qabala" by Lon Milo DuQuette, "Qabalistic Tarot" by Robert Wang, and "Tarot and the Gates of Light" by Mark Horn. I hope that helps. 🙏
@@LennanSmith I've ordered them all now (could not help my selv), so I can start study before Christmas :) study something so interesting, well.. why wait!! ;)
Oh, thank you for the suggestion. I have a few readings in videos (not that easy to spot, though, because I don't do thumbnails very well 🤐🤣) You can check my THOTH THURSDAY playlist. 💘
(2) years later.......from my perspective the moon card also encourages us to use illusionary (visualization) energy to see the reality ( malkuth) that we would like to see. How do you feel about this path after having some more time to meditate on it?
Hmm, I tend to go this route as well. With this path leading from Netzach to Malkuth, there's a victory in our psyches when we see things the way we WANT to see them... there's not always truth in it. It's like shiny things we gravitate towards but in reality, it's a mirage...!

Isnt feminin and masculin the other sides this perosn gives us ? That would make more sens i think.
nice video. it was written in the 1500's but it's nice to see it as a tree. tarot backwards is TORAT which is the truth of Moses.
Thanks for the info!
Hey, what rider waite Smith deck is that?
This is the "Spirit Imports" (company name) deck called 'The Original Tarot' on Amazon. I think it is still available! 😊
Loved your information thankyou
Which version of RWS is this deck? 🙂
