People dont realize it's alot harder to wrap primer because shit peels off easy with wrap . Still did an amazing job much respect 🙌

@@LEAFROE not true i wrapped my whole front end on my civic in carbon fiber and it was primed didnt come up at all till i peeled it off
If he had sanded the body work better .that's the issue

i sand primer to 800 and that keeps it from ripping the primer off when re positioning the wrap. a large portion of my car is primer and have had it wrapped for around 2 years. im in the process of re wrapping it now and where theres primer the vinyl is much much more adhered to than that on the factory paint. its hell to get off of the primer panels

Im kickin it east coast, in my ez-cliner chillin, watching this 350z go from gray McMillan to 24k super thrillin'. You are killing it, out there in the West Coast....Paradox making the wraps slip slide till the customer reveal pops their chrome dome, presto, change-o, money maker payload....nice, sweet and loooow. Loved the burn out as he was leaving paradox wrap zone, custom exhaust left a slick sound all round.
Your honesty shines through this wrap!

Great job! I typically stay away from wrapping over primer because of the low surface energy...wrap generally doesn’t like to stick to primer and can peel super easy from it. One trick is to do a quick coat of a clear gloss...it seals the primer and provides a higher surface energy for the wrap to stick. Down side is waiting for the clear to dry hard enough to wrap over.
Regardless, great job and good on you for being transparent with the customer in identifying potential problem areas with the reassurance you’ll fix it if issues come up.
Seems like the wrap is enhanced by a good to great paint job 🤔

What a guy man... Most professionally "trained" shops wouldn't have touched that car in that state and you made it work. I was told by a shop in New Orleans that I would essentially have to have my entire truck wet sanded and re-clear coated before they would touch it. Unless it has a "like new" gloss finish (i.e. no sun fading) they wont wrap it. Great work man! Always love where and how you choose to split colors up as well. If you're going to have a seam anyway, why not mix it up. You always manage to pick the right colors and places.
Ya the professional shops got too much liabilities and stuff. People know what they are getting into when they come to me. I can try my best and with what I got to work with. If their prep work sucks then it is what it is.
@@ParadoxTheWrapper Guess it all boils down to the customer. So long as they are aware of what they're in for, nobody can really complain if things go wrong. I personally thought it was pretty cool of you to even try for him, but was surprised and impressed with how it came out. I think this is just as impressive as watching you whoop that STI's cut up arse.
Idk if you know, but with any film with a clear layer, you can leave on until the end, it prevents scratching from squeegees! Great job from a fellow wrapper!

I don’t know if anyone else noticed, unless discussed off camera you did his mirrors wrong. He wanted the majority of the mirror gold and the top portion carbon. You did exactly opposite of that. None the less another beautiful wrap done ✅

that's one car that would benefit from showing side by side before/after still shots when it's done. for it doesn't really matter how good or bad the wrap job turns out, because the end result still looks 10X better than what the owner drove in with. Damn that turned out sick bro!! Even with some issues and slight imperfections, it looks 100xs better. Carbon wrap looks amazing in the sun. Keep it up bro. Work continues to get better.

The rims on the 350 are super nice but need spacers to bring them out flush with the body. Would look clean!
You should remove the protective film after successfully applying the wrap to avoid scratches from squeeze

Believe it or not, that's exactly what I said when realizing what car wrapping is really about.
The car and rear bumper came out nice👌. The front bumper doesn't fit in with the rest of the car but you made it look good.

i have a model 350z i just primed painted and bonded some holes on it and it’s funny to see we bonded the same holes, antenna, fender badges etc. lol

Big Props for how this turned out at the end!...BUT if it was me though in the beginning I would of told the Owner to fix the Primer prior so you dont have to redo it and spend more time on a not so great car now since you mentioned all the bad areas that need to be redone...Just Sayin!
