Airport (KMVY) and presumably clicked off the Autopilot expecting to see the airport lights, he couldn't 'See Sh*t' & started feverishly doing turns "in the Soup" not realizing he wasn't flying level, but descending and rapidly accelerating to a speed to 250+ KIAS [the Saratoga's Never Exceed (VNE) speed was 193 KIAS] in a terminal 4700 FPM nose down dive proving he had not developed the requisite instrument cross-check for the weather conditions he encountered off The Vineyard ... the ingrained & arrogant Dare Devil Attitude of Kennedy Men bit him in the ass ....
