They really need to start making unironically hopeful and positive feeling soundtracks like this for video games again, far too many generic cinematic ambience tracks and depressing songs these days. You get a few happy soundtracks here and there with newer titles but usually in the wacky and ironic style. The Sega Sound Collections really made me realise just how much we're missing with modern OSTs.
Thats one thing Sega will never get wrong there sound tracks no matter the go.Its always so uplifting and complete moody charger im really gald to have been introduced to these great classics
You might want to look up the Vitamin Connection soundtrack.

I just noticed that the singer for this was Dennis St. James, the same guy who performed the music for "Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge"! That's awesome, especially considering the fact that the Japanese singer was Takenobu Mitsuyoshi!

Same here. Ever since I heard the Japanese version on Phantasy Star Online on gamecube I was hooked.
I still remember hearing this song for the first time randomly in Phantasy Star Portable 2's online mode in someone's room. Myself and 3 others spent like 30 minutes dancing to this song...aha it feels incredibly nostalgic listening to this again
There's even a singleplayer quest involving two songs from this game lol. Both Japanese though.

I think I've recalled hearing this game's name, but didn't know what it was back when it released. Now while playing Project X Zone 2, an instrumental version of this song came up and it was kind of awesome and weird. I researched and this came up. Awesome hehe.

I thinking its more like that coflagrations are the ONLY danger that they haven't figured out how to 100% prevent. They have to face them directly to mitigate the harm.
I mean, statistically, fires can happen anywhere, anytime, for any reason. Most other disasters can at least be predicted with an extremely respectable margin of error.
What a nice song, it's so upbeat and uplifting. It may be a little corny, but I like it a lot :D

Someone please tell me this in on virtual console somewhere. The homage mission in PSO is one of my favorite side quests ever, yet I've never played Burning Rangers itself.
Seriously, it sounds like something befitting of a Sentai show (e.g. Super Sentai/Power Rangers).
The premise is similar to GoGoV/Lightspeed Rescue which is ironic considering this game came out a year before GoGoV

IF Sega IS reviving some older franchises, iI can see their contender for a shooter could be Burning rangers. closest they got to it. Maybe Treyarch or whoever does a CoD game every other year? they are usually the better of the 2 devs.

Saturns were made incredibly durable so most still work today and the import version of this game is still affordable!

OMG every song the dub from japanese to english most of the time suck or is below the original, but these one is on par or better than the japanes version the one singing makes it sound more hot-blooded
This is one of those songs you sing with your heart more than anything, so even if everyone is tone-deaf it'll still sound just fine.
