    What an amazing performance! Everyone always mentions Chris Squire’s outstanding bass lines but he was also an incredible vocalist. The way he harmonizes with Jon is a big part of the Yes sound!

      SO true, Chris's vocals were such a huge part of their sound, he was every bit as important vocally as anything else, "FISH OUT OF WATER" really showcase's his vocal talents and is a musical masterpiece and evidence of the huge importance of his role in this band!

      What an experience it must've been to have seen them at that time. I just wish they would've put whatever differences they had aside and had done one more tour with Jon Anderson.

      As opposed to Jon Anderson's pants, which look really goofy. Great performance by all of them though :)

    WOW! To play this song live & to get it basically spot on with the studio version..forget about it! Thesed guys are beyond Amazing. Not many bands in any era of music had this much talent. Not to mention Jon's vocals. Had to be hard as shit to sing this song live. YES forever!!!!

    Anyone listening in 2024??? RIP Chris Squire and Alan White. I just saw Jon Anderson last year and he sounds exactly the same as he did in the old days

    Gotta love Chris playing that 8-string Rickenbacker bass! RIP Chris!

      This is probably one of the last shows where CS played the 8 string Rick. In the same tour the luthier Eric Ranney gave him his 8 string builted with chris' specs and from that time I always saw squire with that bass.

    • @pecanpie100
      @pecanpie100 2 роки тому +1

      @@Sadowsky1965 Yeah, Chris preferred the Ranney 8-stringer over the Ric because the Ranney allowed for individual intonation settings for each of the 8 strings. The Ric didn't have that capability with the stock bridge. So the Ric 8-stringer was either in tune down low on the neck or up high, but not both.

    After listening to this over 100 times I just realised there are other instruments playing there as well as the bass.

    Sincronização impecável de todos integrantes me dá arrepios e tristeza pois nunca mais haverá uma banda tão impecável como essa mas fico feliz de ter vivido para ver essa perfeição musical.
