That's way more quiet than I expected it to be. Muffler has a nice low tone.
What prop size and ratio would this 22hp kit come with?
Just curious I got a mud skipper kit and plan on putting it on the same boat. I think those kits are a few pounds lighter. Did you have and problems with water coming over the transom my kits rated for a 18-20 but not sure what I should try

Ok at best. Flat bottom is best for stuff like this. Just depends on the water depth you are expecting to run.
How many hours have you put on this motor? I've got 5 of these in lawn mowers and was wondering about the longevity. They sure are a good value if they will last.
I've got several with 50hrs or more. As long as you run nonethanal, keep oil changed and full. Don't overheat them and they should last
I've talked to a guy who got 3500 hrs on one used as a pressure washer. It's a lawnmower engine... with proper maintenance it'll last a long, long time.

Performance670.com makes a 34mm carb adapter that will make that thing scream
ever have issues with the carb? I've cleaned mine out and the fuel just fills up the bowl until it spits out the vent hose. harbor freight takes 8-10 weeks to send a new carb, but i heard honda gx670 has same carb.
No issues but carb on Honda should work. It's a copy of it.
This happens when the needle valve that's connected to the float gets gunned up by ethanol and sitting.. happens to my lawn mowe carb all the time before I switched to ethanaol free fuel.. clean out the needle valve and the office it goes into really good should stop the problem.. make sure the gas didn't get into the oil.. that's what happened to me

I have a customer that runs the 25 hp on 1756 tracker he runs 24mph two men with fishing gear. Right now 25 hp Subarus are Limited availability. Subaru got bought out by Yamaha and their production has stopped for a period of time. I've switched over to Briggs & Stratton. The biggest small block they make is 23hp I also build the 35hp.

You’d be better off with a big block 35. You would be highly disappointed with the small block

Swamps been part of my life since I was a kid. Gators are the least of my worries
