Cool stuff coming to that beast. That tether is insane. Also the ability to have it fly out of an area on the exact same path that it flew into the area is an awesome idea. Me liking this.
Did any of this stuff ever come out? I know 3dr pulled the plug on the drone, but I'm wondering if they ever made that other stuff to market. Really cool add ons if you ask me

It had so much potential to rival DJI. Multi Point Cable Cam is amazing.
What was the camera not the 360 one the other??
I bought this drone for over 1000 Aud and then one month later it was discontinued and going for 300 :-( Im sorry solo users for giving it the kiss of death. It had so much potential, my biggest issue is the go pro, I don't think fisheyes are good for drones. I need to figure out how to get a good camera mounted on it, I'm only a stills guy.

I have tested the 3DR Solo and I can tell you, I would rather spend my money buying a DJI Phantom 3, or 4.
Wally Santana I have to agree. Better flight time much much more stable. And they actually come with a gimbal that actually works
3dr has no support for their drone they have phone numbers that don't exist do not buy 3DR you will regret it
Go ahead and call Microsoft and tell them you need help with Windows XP and windows 7 or apple with iPhone 5. Lets see how helpful those companies are with their products they no longer support. Solo is a great drone with 3rd party support, aftermarket products, hardware mods, on and on, long list...
