it always seemed unusual that they had this song in lieu of thriller in the game, in what was clearly a thriller-inspired level it's really good! very faithful to the original, the vrc6 pseudo-synth is on point and the use of sonic 3 samples is clever
ZeroJanitor It was due to the person who actually wrote Thriller. Only dance and I believe choreography was by Michael. Another man wrote the song and lyrics, and had not given permission for its use. Only the original release had snippets of it for the Dance Magic attacks, and a prototype had the entire thing for the stage.
