your spotify playlists have literally saved my life, they introduced me to lil peep, witt lowry, blackbird and more. Thanks so much man, i probably wouldnt be here w/o your playlists.
Nice, but could you talk a bit (no pun...) about the bit used? I first thought, wow, how did you factor in the bit diameter, but I then did a pause on the jig and see that it calls for a 1/4" bit. That seems pretty thin, do you have to take lots of passes to avoid snapping it? Also, what is the bit shape, including the tip. Is it a plunge bit? I know, newbie to routers, assume nothing.
That's exactly how you are supposed to do it bro, Nice work. Not long you will be having some nice looking awesome sounding speakers "beware good drivers can become a money pit" Good luck keep on making them videos. P.S. OH! the round speakers are easy the ones with 4 oval shape screw holes are much harder and require free hand routing on those 4 corners 😤🤯.
Nice to hear an Aussie doing this. I don't know anything about plunge Routers, do you need different "bits" to fit on the cutting apparartus? Can you get them in australia?
You forgot to add the thickness of the sealing gasket for mounting under the flange of the speaker rim. I use draught excluder foam, but you can get other neoprene foam strip or at least use soft carboard.... whatever you use, the extra thickness after its compressed, needs to be factored into the router depth.
I made 2 boxes for 2 8” subwoofers i had laying around but i done the measurements really wrong and the boxes ended up half the size they are meant to be and they basically make no noise even with 500W running through them😂
Great video, good instruction but don't let your viewers thing they can wear a hoodie with dangling hood cords anywhere around power tools. They may not be as clever and end up rather all choked up over the video......
You never pronounce the type of woofer right. It's a designer series woofer. In your excursion video you said reference series and now you say classic series😂 seems kinda funny.

“That’s what she said”. He was saying it as I was thinking it. Lol. Great video!! Exactly what I was looking for to flush mount woofers!
So satisfying to watch
Quick tip- spin the router against the rotation ONLY otherwise it could kickback and injure you.
Such an underrated channel 🔥🔥🔥
Hi, what do you call a circle guide that you used it? And where i can buy? Thank you
What about OVAL (6 x 8")? I bought a pair of Kenwoods, but they did not include a template.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much 👍
Wow jack. Congrats to the 50k❤

Thank you for this because I struggle Everytime by making the hole for my speaker small or big that doesn't fit right

Nice work! Looking forward to your next builds 👍🏻
Hello there, great video, thank you.
I'm just wondering what online calculator you were using?
What about if you want to do this with 15 -24 inch subs? how big does the circle Jig get if you get new pieces etc?
What size bit did you use and where can I get the pin for the circle stencil. Cheers.
"that's what she said"
I died
love it lol
i need the link to that converter pls
What if the speaker isn’t a perfect circle? Like Dayton DC130...
I'll subscribe but I hope you show a way to cut out a rectangle to flush mount horn tweeters...
Damn I really needed this video because literally every hole I cut is too small
What is the maximum diameter circle you can cut with this tool?
18 inches and 3/16ths
Yes, I saw it too late, thanks anyway.
Is there any alternative in Europe of this tool?

Makayta? Raybetted? (Makita, Rabetted)
You're so Awesome!
Second!!
Nice 👍👍
Love you video
Its actually a little too tight. Once you paint the boxes you might find it very difficult to install the woofer.
Yeah I am going to 2nd this. And it would depend on the material you are using if there is going to be any thermal or moisture expansion.
How To PERFECTLY Mount A Speaker when uv got my special driller

I'm pretty hopeless, I never script anything so everything I say is completely on the spot!
