Hi where can I got to learn it?
Hey William! You can a free sample of the eBook and demo tracks at saxtuition.com/try or go straight to saxtuition.com/products/beginnerseries-eb to get the whole series.
Thanks
I played oboe in the past and now learning alto sax. This video is a great tool. But when I try to practice the lower notes, I just get a squawk. Future lesson?
I don't own a saxophone but here i am :D
I've rented one and I have to say, it's awesome. It's so loud though, I live in a small house and I still feel like I'm bothering my neighbors...that being said I really recommend it, it's a lot of fun.
@@thelewis2898 Oh my yes. I didn't realize how loud it would be. I just blew on the mouth piece alone and send my cats scrambling! LOL. Well, I don't feel too bad because some of my neighbors regularly serenade us with their BOOM cars at 10:30pm every night and nobody complains about that. But I hope my good neighbor next door(with whom I share a common wall : duplex) doesn't object to the random goose honking! I'm trying to keep it a secret until I can at least play a tiny bit but that may not be possible! I hope I can have fun with it like you suggest.
BTW: I didn't know you could rent-a-sax! I just bought one from Walmart.
Same knowing me I would stop playing after a week but im still interested in watching
We have to change reed after used once?
@@p.vimala8335 id imagine not since there expensive just wash it after playing if you use your mouth to wet it
Hi Jeremy. I am an adult male 50+ years old who had never played a musical instrument or tried to learn anyrhing musical. 2 years ago I purchased your Beginner Series and started my journey. I am now fairly competent in reading sheet music. I have played in church a few times and played at my father's funeral last month. It's all thanks to your series (and exactly 5 sessions with a teacher to help prepare for 2 performances). Thanks Jeremy, thanks Sax Tuition. You have helped make my dream of playing the saxophone come true. I have a long way to go, but I have a sound (pardon the pun) foundation to build on. I highly recommend Sax Tuition Beginner Series.
Brill imnew tooilisren to series too
WOW!! Your comment was so moving. That had to take so much heart to play for your father’s services. Please accept my condolences for such a profound loss. That was truly a memorable gift you gave to yourself and to him being able to play an instrument that has meant so much to you over the years. My lifelong dream has been to learn the saxophone. I am currently looking around for one myself. I wish you much success and continued reward in playing an incredible instrument. You’ve really encouraged me. Thank you for that. I’m so glad I found this channel. What a blessing. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
bruh I haven’t played in almost 5 years and couldn’t make a sound on this sax I just bought. Literally one sentence about cold air vs hot air fixed the problem lmao, thank you
hey , im a beginner and when i try to blow hot air it dosent make any sound because it dosent have any pressure......please help
My son struggles with concentration and has Dyslexia but he was absolutely glued to your Lesson 1. In lockdown it is so hard for him to find anything to get excited and proud about but the enthusiasm he brought to your lessons made my heart glow so thanks.
Thank you Anna! I’m so glad to hear that, I hope your son loves learning the saxophone 😊 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions - Jeremy
That's beautiful!!!!
This man should be teaching everything in the world.

Best saxophone lesson, i fell in love wirh this instrument by listen to careless whisper by a saxophone, so i am learning some stuff before buying one 😁
Very informative, thank you! I'll be looking into the rest of the series.
Great beginning lesson .Thank you for the curriculum
I’ve owned a saxophone more than half my life, and thanks to your video I’m finally able to play it!
Excellent lesson, thanks! Getting my first sax in a few weeks
You've got such a pleasant voice! Great tutorial!
My son has a family of saxophone, 2 alto sax, 1 tenor and 1 soprano. My husband hired a soprano for me. You are right, its not easy to get soprano in tune but I think learning from scratch would help me. So, your lesson 1 is great. Thank you. I like your exercises. See you again.
Thank you so much king! 🤴
Awesome explanations!!
thanks bro you helped bunches
I’m trying to decide whether to learn violin or saxophone next so ty!
I'm coming back to woodwinds after 3 years tomorrow. Played Clarinet for 4 years, switched to Trumpet and now I'm in college and I've fallen in love with the Tenor Sax sound (particularly from John Coltrane). I'm super excited, video explains everything great!
Very nice to listen to you.
thank you for the lesson 1 Sir.. I learned a lot😍
Thank You So Very Very Much You Sir Are A Great Teacher
I played Tuba/Sousaphone from middle school to senior HS. But was always curious about the sax, but never had any opportunities to learn it. Here I am at 32 and about to purchase one. Thanks for the early lessons before I actually buy it.
Beautiful , nice and easy starter !
Thank you for the inspiration. I dont own a sax yet and have never played any instrument but the sax calls to me. I sure hope I can learn. Thank you for your time good sir.
Did you end up buying one?
Been planning to start learning sax. I am obsessed
You certainly make it look easy. 🙏

thank you sir this really genuine teaching.
This is just amazing
You are a genius teacher, thank you!
Thanks sir just subbed will be getting my sax in a month time
I’m so glad I ran across your video! My husband played some saxophone in high school but hasn’t played in many years, but I play piano by ear and have always wanted to learn sax, so I unburied his saxophone out of the basement and put it together, but I couldn’t even get a sound to come out other than blowing air 😂 I am laughing at all the things I did wrong after watching your video and look forward to trying again tomorrow to see if I can actually get a sound! That would be a good start lol
Good explanation ❤
Thank you
you are such a great teacher!
Dude your the man. Great first lesson
I love your videos they help so much
58, thought I would buy a Sax, as you do. Three days in and your description on how to breathe into the mouth piece has made a massive difference. Just need to find an optimal position to hold the Sax and then I will be getting started. Many thanks.
Very clear and well paced instructions -- thanks so much!
Glad it was helpful!
I don't own a saxophone 🎷 either but I'm going to get one. Especially now that I know theory arpeggios, triads on my guitar. I love the saxophone sound. Wish me luck! Great lessons!
Omg tysm!!
Thanks, I found this very helpful returning to my Tenor Sax after a long break. :) :)

Glad I got this recommended.
Excelent!!! Thank you
Very nice lesson can’t wait to get my sax 🎷 ☺️
I played the clarinet in school and have wanted to play the saxophone ever since someone told me that it is easy to learn the sax because they are very similar. I am turning 50 soon and think it's time to cross it off my bucket list. I am not sure if I will get a used or new 🎷
Excellent.
Great work.
What a smily guy! so nice thank very much for the lesson :)
I am a advanced saxophone player, and I enjoyed watching your video👍

best beginner series I've come across! Just got my grandfather's old sax and can't wait to dive in. Your teaching style is straight to the point and easily engaging. Definitely choosing your channel and online series to go down the rabbit hole.
quick question about your gear, can you share a link for your sax case? Mine is super old and we dig yours.
**also can you maybe link directly to "theory basics", that pulls up everything on a google search lol...
Cheers :D
Nice teaching
Thank goodness I clicked on your channel because I was looking to learn the Alto saxophone and was wondering where to begin. You teach so well, making everything look so doable. First yome here...i find here interesting... hope to learn and grow
Eagerly waiting for next lessons sir.
Awesome! Greats lessons, just got a sax have no ideal whatsoever, but your lessons got me 😉 Thanks.
I don't get the tongue thing can you please explain to me.
Took a huge dive and ordered a sax (Albeit, a very cheap one relatively.) as I've wanted to play for 22 years. I've played the clarinet for all that time, I was in the school band from years 3-11, so hopefully I can at the very least get a sound out of it pretty quickly! The fingering looks a bit less complicated than clarinet fingering too. They always told me it was easier to go from clarinet to sax than the other way around, so, I'm gonna put that to the test! 😅
Thanks Dude! We definitely owe you a beer!
A brilliant video..informative !and in plain language that a complete novice will be be able to understand…
Thanks Michael!
